Hey V, without going back through each page, what's your record against the Yanks this year?

Just curious, this is always a great rivalry.

There has been 2 3-game sets, one in New York and one in Boston and the record is 3-3.

The best pitcher in those series - T. Wakefield - (1-0) in 2 starts -

16 IN 9 HITS 4 ER 15 SO

That is one of the main reasons why I pushed back Wakefield's start. Hopefully he stop this away losing streak.

EDIT: You know JR, I think you just gave me another idea. I can probably incorporate the head-to-head meetings and highlight the key players that have come up big in the past. I think I will work on something like that to make this dynasty more interesting.

Thanks for the info, redsox. I've always loved the Boston/NYY rivalry, and the fact that they're on ESPN tonight makes my day.

Grillin' out, few cold brews, Red Sox/Yankees. The only thing better would to be at the game. :)

And sitting on top of the Green Monster  . It should be one hell of a game. A-Rod vs. Dice-K - now that is a classic baseball matchup - arguably the best hitter in baseball vs. the best free-agent acquisition in all baseball.

C'mon Sox, let's hope Wakefield keeps it up. Even if the real Sox don't fare so well in Mordor, they better do well in virtual Mordor.

I am definitely confident going into this matchup. I just love pitching with him. It gives me such a great sense of dominance. I have a feeling that Gondor is going to come up on top on this one  .

Wakefield is doing nice, give em hell! You definately have the edge in this matchup...

I am definitely counting on him to stop this little losing streak of mine.

This ought to be a great matchup. I faced them both many times in my A's dynasties.

Both are hard as hell to hit.

Well, the game is over, but I am just too tired to post the game report tonight. I will do that first thing in the morning.

Just to keep you guys wanting for more: It was one hell of a pitching matchup and the final score was 2-1. Who won? You will have to find out tomorrow.

Thanks man. I think the overlay came out to better than I expected. It

This has definitely been a very close series and can you believe it - Kyle Davies - (6-0) on the season. Hopefully I can take the series. This has actually been a rough road stretch - (1-4) against TOR and NYY.

Great series, like I knew it would be. I really like that latest overlay.

Good stuff man.

Thanks. It has definitely been a very interesting series thus far. And I think the 3rd game will be nothing short of entertaining. Hopefully I can come away with the win.

BTW, where is your dynasty Maestro23? I can't seem to find it on the dynasty forum?

Well I was kind of suggesting a reunion of the 2004 team, not necessarily making a ton of big trades.

I think I am going to be doing something like this - have a reunion of sorts. Thanks for the suggestion el_jefe061. I have about 4 trades that I am planning on making and it will be stretched out from now and until the trade deadline. Obviously the biggest acquisition I feel will be near the trade deadline.

BTW, I would like to get everyone's opinion on this.
