redsox
At least you got out of there with one game. Looks like Borrell had your number. I've never faced him (actually never heard of him). He must be pretty tough to hit.Me neither. I had no idea who this guy is but the computer decide to spot start him against me. It was his off-speed pitch that was troubling me. He actually had a no-hitter for 5.2 innings. The final score seems like a blow-out but it was actually a pretty close game. Rentaria's error opened up for the 6 runs in the 6th. I had 2 strikes on Williams but I couldn't get a slider to go out of the strike zone and it ended up being a grand-slam. I guess I should not have set the wind speed to 30 MPH and the direction towards RF. The grand-slam HR carried because of the wind. Well, anyway, the good thing is my next series is back home. Hopefully I can start winning again. 1-5 road trip was not what I was expecting.
JoeRudi26
30 MPH to right at Yankee Stadium is a dangerous thing with Matsui, Giambi, Posada, and Martinez in the lineup. Of course, it could go either way, but still, I like the realistic attributes you put in the game. Without looking back through the pages, how do you fare in the standings now? redsox
Currently I am tied with BAL for second place - 1.5 GB of TB. I am actually working on a layout for updated standings and a little team history - basically provide records and who's hot and who's not against the team that I am going to face. I have also thought of posting MVPSavReader files (about the two teams) before every series. ---------------------------------------- So, now I have a question for you guys, would you all prefer that I upload the SavReader files or would you guys want me to post standings/information regarding upcoming matchup as part of my pre-game/post-game format? ro290190
this dynasty just keeps getting better and better , keep up the outstanding work man. I am pumped about your upcoming trades I cant wait to see who you bring back. Will you be inserting Schilling into the closers role like the real Sox did or will he be a starter? I am pumped about your upcoming trades I cant wait to see who you bring back. Will you be inserting Schilling into the closers role like the real Sox did or will he be a starter? Thanks. One thing is for sure - I will be bringing back someone that you guys would not have expected. BTW, if Foulke hadn't got injured he would have stayed in the closer's role (the man had an ERA less than 1.20). Right now I have Hansen as my closer and I am planning on putting Schilling in the rotation. Of course some of the trades might change that later on. Nice to see that you are enjoying this dynasty man.

redsox
i want to see who your bringing in that we're not expecting.. will it say tonight?Well, I was actually planning on stretching it out. I will be making roughly 4-5 deals and was going to probably trade for 1 every 2 weeks from now on. And I was thinking of keeping the surprise trade until the trade deadline. But if there are a lot of people wanting to know who I will be trading for, I could fast forward my dynasty. Probably sim for 2 weeks and present an update and sim for another 2 weeks present an update and so on. I don't mind doing that. I will once again go back to playing each game after the deadline. I would like to know what you guys think.

redsox
I will just wait and see what other think about it. I don't mind fast forwarding at all (I will probably just manage the games). Let me know what you guys want. Besides, I am presenting this dynasty for the members to enjoy. So I am always open for suggestions on improving it to suit the members' needs. JoeRudi26
The standings board looks great, V! Tampa Bay is a little dark (sure you noticed that), but it looks fantastic. 1.5 out of first place. I know you have talked about simming ahead, but if I were in your position (but im not), I wouldn't sim anything. You have a good thing going. Great dynasty. redsox
Thanks all, I was kinda in a hurry so I didn't have time to take a second look. I will change the font color for the Devil Rays. BTW, do you guys think I should stick with just one font color for all the teams or are the current team colors a good thing?

I was expecting DiNardo to hold his own but not the kind of performance I got out him. I was thinking of sending him down once Schilling gets back but I may have to put in the pen and probably send someone else down.

redsox
Man, you put a hurting on the O's. Like the new Standings board also. Lopez seemed to be throwing beach balls starting in the 4th inning. Until then he was actually pretty good. I didn't know he could throw in the mid-90s. It kinda fooled me early and then of course the Papi HR. I think this is the first time in a long while that I have really smacked some pitchers around. Damn, you beat them... Lol Was there any doubt?
