Looks like teixera's gonna get some chin musiC!!

It may have to wait until game 3 of the series or maybe in the late innings of game 2. I have a pitcher starting tomorrow whose hardest fastball is usually clocked around 70 MPH.

The knuuckleball is the perfect pitch for head shots in this game , just let the meter run alittle late against righties and they won't be taunting you anymore!!

I'm interested to know what kind of sliders you play with. BTW, Great Dynasty.

Also i dont think you should acquire Derek Lowe, because your rotation is pretty much full, and Bronson Arroyo is too good to be pushed to the bullpen. But I like your idea of reaquiring all the 2004 players, like Orlando Cabrera.

That's what it looks like.

Actually those are just lights from that building over at center field.

I have posted my sliders on the first page of this thread but I haven't updated it to the most recent one I am using. I will get that done soon.

Also, thanks for your interest in this dynasty. Take care.

I would like to get an opinion on something. I am quite keen on starting a 2007 dynasty with the Boston Red Sox but I do not want to abandon this dynasty even if there is just one follower. So, what do you guys think I should do? Would a lot of people prefer that I do a 2007 dynasty with the Red Sox or continue this.

Its not like I will completely abandon this. If I were to start an 07 dynasty, I would still find some time to finish some games in this one. Anyway, I would really like to hear from you guys. Thanks.

It's your call, redsox. The AL East Division (in this dynasty) is tight, and you've played a ton of games, so IMO, I would hate to see this one dissolve.

If I had my choice, I would love to see a '86 Boston Dynasty, see if Buckner can change the course of history. ;)

Seriously, whatever you decide I'm sure people will follow.

Well, if I were to start an 07 one, I wouldn't completely abandon this one - I will keep providing updates now then. But one of the main reasons for me to think about starting an 07 dynasty is that things are getting quite redundant with the game updates. I could probably take some time off and work on different layouts for pre-game/post-game/lineup cards etc... I am sure things are little boring now with the same type of formats being presented for every game.

I like the idea of a 2007 Dynasty just as much as the one you have going, or the 86 one for that matter.

162 games with a daily update is going to get redundant no matter how you slice it, at least from my point of view. Storylines can take you far, but I think it all depends on how you want to present it. Blockbuster deals, injuries, standings...those things will keep it a bit fresh too, but eventually you're back to square one.

In my Dynasty, it's probably a little more boring since I play with real rosters, so using the imagination has to be in the presentation, which, can get redundant too.

Baseball, as we know, is a slow process that has to evolve, either winning or losing. I equate my updates the way I've always approached the game:

I check the standings everyday, see if my team won, look around the league a little and move on. This is why I think I'm going to change my format for awhile to a 'series update' instead of a daily one.

Just some ideas, redsox, of course choose and present yours the way you want to, there's no doubt it will still be good.
