redsox
Good win, redsox. Looks like you handled the DRays pretty easily. Now it's time to expand that lead in the East. I was more patient than before earlier on in the game but then I went into aggressive mode again late in the ball game. I am going to be taking a lot more pitches so that I can get Manny's and Papi's bat going. But thats right Jay, apart from that one inning where Pedro couldn't retire a batter after 2-outs, he was lights out for me. I think I should be in good shape to take the series since Schilling will be pitching the 3rd game. Actually looks pretty solid. Well done. Good luck for the rest of your dynasty. Thanks man, BTW were you able to download the file? I was looking at your last game and i realized that Pedro was wearing a blue glove. And i remember that pedro wore a red glove with the red sox. Just thought i should mention it. Btw, love the dynasty. Thanks for the reminder on Pedro's gloves. I had meant to change that since he is back with Boston now, but I forgot to do so. He had changed it to blue when he went to NY.

RmembrZito75
Nice win there in extras, Redsox. Every win is helping you on a tough road to win that close division. Good luck on the rest of the season, buddy.

redsox
Nice win there in extras, Redsox. Keep hanging in there in that tough AL East. Good luck, buddy. Thanks man. I am really enjoying this dynasty and the main reason for that is that all the teams have a chance of winning the division and that battle makes it that much more fun to play. It's always fun knowing that you've got other teams right behind you if you lose. Also, I'm surprised that the D-Rays are hanging in there. Usually, they lose 90-100 games in a season. redsox
I have no idea how the Rays are in the mix. They have allowed more runs than they have scored but their offense is pretty loaded though. Not to mention the fact that they have done all this with Crawford coming off the bench now and then. But now with Huff injured, they have started playing Crawford everyday and he is really producing.
JoeRudi26
Way to hang in there and get the marathon win, redsox. Good job. :)
redsox
Way to hang in there and get the marathon win, redsox. Good job. Thanks man, I am loving every bit of this dynasty. Never thought I would end up in a race like this. I just hope that all the teams stay close to each until the final week. I am quite proud of these victories, mainly because I refrain myself from starting the games if things don't go my way. So basically when I start a game, I see to it till the end. I am about start a 3-game series on the road against the White Sox and I thought this would be a good time for me to do some series updates. I am currently working on and hopefully it will turn out to be good.

redsox
Boston Red Sox - Down in the Farm * NOTE - Jonathan Papelbon had spent some time on the ML roster and has been on the 15-day DL, hence the low innings pitched. Now that Foulke is back from the DL again, I have sent Papelbon back to the minors, though that may change following a deal that I plan on making for a SS. *

Thats why I had to present a normal update for Game 3 and have the information from games 1, 2, and 4 in the series update. Hope this is not too confusing. redsox
I hear you. That is one of the aspects of this dynasty that I like the most. I am actually going to begin a 3-game set with the D-Rays on the road. Hopefully I can come out of with a couple of wins - though a sweep would be nice. BTW, thanks for checking in.
