redsox
Yanks for wild card! Hopefully thats the case, though they have a really good chance - just as everybody else - to win that division.

SeanRobinson
Good job! I'd hoped you would get Cabrera, but honestly--you would have to give the Angels WAY more than that if you expected to pick up K-Rod as well! I look forward to seeing where this goes from here. redsox
It was an easy decision for me to go with Nomar, with Manny and Damon both going down due to injuries. But it was kinda hard for me to figure out who to trade for before the injuries as I didn't know whether I wanted to create storybook ending or go with the team that won it all. But I guess deep inside, I really wanted to see Nomar back. Details of the trade will follow. I am working on it at the moment. @ el_jefe061 - Not sure why you can't see the post. Basically I had wanted to trade for Cabrera and K-Rod but the asking price was a little steep and not to mention the fact that deep down inside I wanted Nomar back. Hence I made the deal. redsox
wow, manny AND damon both going down.... cross your fingers for big papi to hang in thereHopefully the return of Nomar can give the team some boost in their absence. Manny will be out for 7 days and Damon for 15 days.

JoeRudi26
Manny and Papi going down. It should be very interesting to see how the next 10 or so games play out. And getting Nomar back. Good call, V. :)

Timp
What do you think the lineup will look like when Johnny and Manny get back? Are you going to return to the 3-4, Ortiz-Manny lineup and fit Nomar in around that?
redsox
What do you think the lineup will look like when Johnny and Manny get back? Are you going to return to the 3-4, Ortiz-Manny lineup and fit Nomar in around that? I will most likely keep Ortiz and Manny at 3 and 4 and have Nomar bat at number 2. If Varitek, Nixon, and Millar don't provide enough protection then I will move Nomar to the number 5 hole and have Mueller bat at number 2. But I am most likely going to have to move Nomar to the number 5 hole when Marcus Giles comes back from the injury (roughly another 20 days). redsox
I have Belhorn batting against left-handers since he has about 80+ contact and power.
