*M.Ramirez injured with minor meniscus sprain. Listed as day-to-day.*

It was an easy decision for me to go with Nomar, with Manny and Damon both going down due to injuries. But it was kinda hard for me to figure out who to trade for before the injuries as I didn't know whether I wanted to create storybook ending or go with the team that won it all. But I guess deep inside, I really wanted to see Nomar back.

Details of the trade will follow. I am working on it at the moment.

@ el_jefe061 - Not sure why you can't see the post. Basically I had wanted to trade for Cabrera and K-Rod but the asking price was a little steep and not to mention the fact that deep down inside I wanted Nomar back. Hence I made the deal.

wow, manny AND damon both going down.... cross your fingers for big papi to hang in there
Hopefully the return of Nomar can give the team some boost in their absence. Manny will be out for 7 days and Damon for 15 days.

* Davies was the hardest to give up as he was 7-2 with a 2.81 ERA for me. *

* But I just didn't want the deal to be a one-side affair since I am getting back a good offensive hitter. *

i am glad to see you got nomar back, i wanted you to get him, but i had a feeling you were gonna get orlando cabrera
It was an extremely hard decision but it was made some what easy when Damon and Manny both went down with injuries.

What do you think the lineup will look like when Johnny and Manny get back? Are you going to return to the 3-4, Ortiz-Manny lineup and fit Nomar in around that?

I will most likely keep Ortiz and Manny at 3 and 4 and have Nomar bat at number 2. If Varitek, Nixon, and Millar don't provide enough protection then I will move Nomar to the number 5 hole and have Mueller bat at number 2.

But I am most likely going to have to move Nomar to the number 5 hole when Marcus Giles comes back from the injury (roughly another 20 days).
