Thanks man. I am trying to play around with the "color balance" and lighting effects.

I gotta tell you, its one hell of a hard job to come up with something new all the time. I have the at-most respect for anyone who starts a dynasty on these boards and sticks with it till the end. I just hope that I don't bore a lot of people with the same type of templates over and over again. I am working on a couple of new templates at the moment but they are not turning out to what I am expecting.

Man, you and JR have set the bar very high for dynasties when it comes to presentation on here. Makes me kinda glad, mine is over at DM.

I would love to have the time to come up with great templates like you guys, but I don't right now. Dang RL job. So I try and make up for it with the writeups.

You templates and style are not boring to me. I know what to expect when I come to your thread to follow things. You capture the highlights of your games very well in my opinion. Keep up the great work. :wtg:

Thanks bud. Appreciate the comments. One thing I can say is that if and when I get into playoffs, my presentation style will have a lot more info - writing wise, analysis wise, and of course presentation wise. The only thing thats pending is for me to get to the playoffs.

Everyone, I need some suggestions/comments for the following pic. I am planning on using this for my 25-man roster post and for my lineup card. I need to know what you guys think about it and what you guys feel I should add. I am most likely going to replace the bio. with the season stats for the lineup card. Apart from that, are there any other suggestions? Thank you.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

MarlinsMS - what do you suggest that I do with the player pic? Maybe change the layer settings to overlay or something similar? Thank you very much for your input.

redsox, first of all, the card looks great.

The 'sticker' look that Marlins is trying to tell you about is due to beveling and embossing, and putting an outer glow on the player. Those PS options tend to give the pic a 3D effect instead of making it look like part of the whole pic.

I would suggest taking those options off first. Then, you might want to put a light either above, or directly on the player, blend it, and soften the edges.

Here's a sample of some very early work I did in PS, but if you notice the edges of the player, you can see he is not 'sticking' out from the pic. Of course, if that's the look you want, then by all means keep it.

Anyway, hope this helps, V. :) Looking forward to talking to you again!

See ya.

lol, actually I was a little embarrassed to put this pic out there because it was something I was first learning in PS.

Hopefully redsox can tell what I'm trying to get across though. :)

I remember the Cubs version of those, or something like it from the beginning of your dynasty I believe.

Thanks a lot for the help Jay. I was actually basing mine off of yours but I just didn't want to flat out ask for your template. I just didn't want to change a couple of text and a pic on something that I never even attempted.

I tried my best to give it a shot and see if I can generate something similar to yours but not to be exactly the same. I tried out your suggestion and it came out great. I think I am going to have to go with even zoomed in picture of the players, maybe just their faces showing. You think that would be better? Thanks again for your help.

Hopefully you have taken back the possession of your computer back from those Norwegians.

That's what I figured, thanks though. I enjoy checking out this dynasty thread, it's pretty cool. It has made me want to start a Boston dynasty, plus I've been reading a cool book called "Feeding The Monster." You should check it out.

The book is really interesting. Thanks a lot for suggesting it to me. Take care.

Thanks for the comments. Hopefully I can find some time to spice up some of the pre-game/post-game presentations. Do check in often. Take care.
