Jymbo05
Sorry I don't have all of the details as I'm not that technically proficient, but I have a Padre's dynasty going, and I'm at game 37 and when I go to sim the day's games to get to the Padre's home game vs. Milwaukie, the sim bar only goes about a quarter of the way and the whole program locks up and freezes. No problem to this point, but I can't get past this. If you tell me where to look for the technicalities, I'll be glad to provide you with whatever I can, but I need to fix this. What a great game! compmaniac
You can reinstall, and back up your dynasty before you reinstall.
Jymbo05
Thank you for that. What files to I need to copy to my desktop (and where can I find them) prior to my deleting the entire program and reinstalling? What order should I reinstall in? What would happen if I reinstall it with the new 2007 instead? If I reinstall the 2006 program, what will stop the crash from happening again? Thanks again for your assistance. compmaniac
Copy everything in the MVP Baseball 2005 folder in your My Documents folder to somewhere else (My DocumentsMVP Baseball 2005 is the folder) 1. Uninstall 2. Back up the My DocumentsMVP Baseball 2005 folder. 3. Delete Program FilesEA SPORTSMVP Baseball 2005 folder. 4. Re-install MVP Baseball 2005. 5. Install patches 3 and 5. 6. Install MVP 07. 7. Copy the backed up files back into your My DocumentsMVP Baseball 2005 folder. It should work. Sorry if you lose your dynasty this way though. Jymbo05
If I reinstalled MVP '06 rather than '07, do you think I'd still lose my dynasty?
phs1234
The dynasty is saved in the Doc folder, as long as you back that up your dynasty should be fine. However, its a good question as to whether a 07 dynasty will work with 06.
