sjbushido
Hi guys, It's been a great time being around this website for a couple years even though I wish I could have contributed more, but after installation of the new MVP07 mod, my gaming life has hit a snag. After finding out that my game continuously freezes at the loading screen, I decided to do a reinstall of my original game. Not only then did I find out that my game would no longer work after so many times of use with disc 2 of my game. The thing was scratched up like none of my other games and it freezes at installation during the stadiums install. I also attempted a system restore to when the game was still working and installed, however, my game claims that it cannot identify the CD as well. There is also no way in heck I'm going to spend $70 on a new copy of this game considering I bought it when it was only $19.99. But one thing for sure, it was money well spent. Well, I've really enjoyed my time here and I appreciate everything you guys have done to have kept me playing this game for such a long time. Thank you so much. Sincerely, sjbushido

sjbushido
what's a good scratch remover?
arossi12
If you get one of those motorized disk doctors, it can repair almost anything except a physical crack. Alternatively, you could use a felt cloth to buffer off some of the scratches, but I'd recommend the disk doctor, since I do have one and it has fixed multiple CDs. AnthonyBurke
Check your local, Wal-Mart or stores that carry PC games STAPLES, Sam Goody, The Mall, If you must get a new CD. I don't why it would be $70.00 dollars. I bought a new 2005 that was on the shelf at Wal-Mart back over the summer and came only in a cd case not a box. I paid $10.00 dollars for it. Look around in second time around type stores as well. You never know.
lautrec
Yeah, you shoud really be able to get the game for 10 bucks in a Wal-Mart, unless you live in California or something. I would definitely get a new game, if you can, with this new mod, it's supremely worth it.
jhanke
i hear, but have not tried, that toothpaste also works well to restore discs.
stinger4life
DO NOT use toothpaste...if you do not know how to do the procedure properly it will ruin the disc beyond repair...your better off just getting a disc doctor.
