Allison41
i was just wondering if anyone tried a fresh install of MVP 07 without having MVP baseball 05 installed?
redsox
You cannot do that. You would need to MVP Baseball 2005 installed before you can install the mod.

redsox
Some install just patch 5 and some install both patches 3 and 5. I guess to be on the safe side, you would want to install both patches.
ronmexico
You can do it to an empty folder cause it uses the files from the CD anyways, thats what I did. Also, you don't need to install any patches, cause it automatically installs patch 5 in your installer...

edwindelahiggins
I still haven't recieved my copy of MVP 05 via ebay yet, but I just had one question. I downloaded the file "MVP07.ror" and I just wanted to know if that's the correct file for the total conversion? Also, could someone give me a brief idea on how to install the upgrade? ronmexico
Sure, it's the correct file. Also, I'll give you a quickie, even though its in the readme. Click on install.exe. It will ask you to put in CD 1. It will extract data for about 8-10 minutes off the CD. It will ask for CD 2. It will extract data for about 20 minutes. If you did not receive an error, (which I did the 1st 3 times, word to the wise, you cannot do it off a backup CD, like I tried to do) you will be set to play. Why is this?
ronmexico
Maybe some have slower computers then others, I have a pretty good machine and it took me about half an hour.
stinger4life
Not advising to do this at all but I was able to install the mod with my old install instead of doing a clean install...In other words I was able to install right over the 06 Mod without any problems...but I would still suggest doing all the steps instead of the quickie way like me :p
kaplerisking
I've installed the whole damn thing twice now, and it won't start at all. It will show the original MVP '05 intro screen with Clemens and Ausmus for a second, then the screen will go black, then crash. I've looked at the readme, and I don't think the issue is uniforms, because it has run fine with them before. Any ideas what else it could be?
