dassub
I haven't even looked into if the game will come out or not, but for now I assume so. With all your mods and dynasty built up and being played regularly, will you stick with 2004, or will you start fresh with 2005?
Guest
2004 ... UNLESS....The game really stands out in performance.
FBeaule04
I will stick with the 2004 unless some major things are added to the game. Like the Expos going somewhere else! 2004 as some glitch, but for most part, this game is really fun and I don't think i'm gonna get the 2005. bgtholt88
i wont buy it unless there is something amazingly new for it.. But as long as there's roster patches here, I'm happy with just playing 04 I usually buy a new game for each sport every 3 seasons- This year I buy NBA 05 and maybe the new Madden. NickD
Guys hush hush about not buying 2005! That's the reason these companies make the games with plenty of flaws and things left to be desired - because if it's perfect we won't buy the next year's version! /tinfoil hat
Cris987
With all the retarded glitches (bullpen, injuries, etc.) in 2004, I'm definitely gonna see if they have fixed them in 2005, then decide rather or not I'd buy it.
ability
Well since I'm totally enthralled with 2004 (and have been since it dropped)... I'll be buying 2005 the day it drops.

stecropper
If Robert Glass is successful with making his MVPEdit '04 files compatible with '05 I will possibly purchase '05. If Sandman's Uniforms are compatible with '05 I will possibly purchase '05. If fuzZ's MVP Studio is upward compatible then I may consider purchasing '05. If none of these are compatible with '05 I will be staying with '04. I can not think of any reason to go to '05 if all the time, quality and energy that has gone into these Mods has to be thrown out with the wash. Even if '05 has a Playoff Scenario, increased OLDTIME stuff and the ability to control more than 1 Team in Dynasty mode I still may stay with '04 due to these marvelous Mods. Certainly improvement in Game Play or enhanced graphics won't move me to swithcing to '05. So, in actuality I can't think of any single nor even multiple things that would cause me to forsake these Mods to move to '05 without them.............. dero
i'm going to get 2005, but based on the rush release of 2004, i will most likely play a demo first. and not to be a dickhead to those who said they wouldn't get this if it didn't have much new features, but.... of course it will lol play 2003 then play 2004, it's like a entirly different game almost, features wise. RAM
I haven't even looked into if the game will come out or not, but for now I assume so. With all your mods and dynasty built up and being played regularly, will you stick with 2004, or will you start fresh with 2005? i'll play it and mod it, once 2005 comes out i think we'll all concentrate on fixing it up. i've learned alot about modding since this game and this website came about, thanks to alot of my buds here. i knew nothing before. i just wish it hadn't taken so long to for the light bulb to turn on! now there's not a WHOLE lot left to mod except minor league stuff. i'm just hoping trues will keep the site up so we can be back w/ a vengeance next year! AlexTony
i second what stecropper said. hopefully, we can use files from '04. rglass rosters, fuzz stuff, uni's compatable, etc. nothing should be taken out: old stadiums, legend players, etc. but more old players, parks and stadiums, even music ditty choices of old/classic added. hopefully playoff series scenario's will be added. and control of more than one team. dassub
It would be nice if we can import our old dynasty into the new game.
mflv
Here's my question. Assuming there are a lot of roster changes over the off season you'd have to start next year with a whole new roster, right? You can't import a new roster into an already begun Dynasty can you? You have to start a new Dynasty with a new roster. So if you start a new roster next year it will still have 2004 schedule on it and then you'd have to sim the entire season to get to 2005. Is that pretty much correct? I really enjoy MVP 2004 and have it pretty well tweaked by now so I think the only thing that would make me want to buy 2005 is if we can have control over all teams such that you can change rosters in mid season for any team and be able to play any game as any team like you could in HH.
