maddux31
I just wanted to let everyone know that I got to thinking today if something were to happen to my MVP05 copy that I have no back-up I had called around to everywhere (Detroit Area) looking to get lucky with a store that still had one lying around. Finally after 30 or so calls I found two stores that had them. One store with one, and the other with two...So I bought all three. This has been a great day!! Just wanted to share....If your still looking for new copies take a hour or so and make some calls their still out there! I spent a total of $60.00 bucks for all three new copies, alot cheaper than ebay and other websites!!!
kgbaseball
$60 for 3? That's cheaper than buying 1 at some of these sites!
maddux31
I know my buddy thought I was nuts. Maybe I am..but with the game skyrocketing in price and the great mods you guys make and contribute to the game, I figured better safe than sorry!! SloppyChris
Since you had already purchased the game it would be completely within your rights to make a backup of the original.
medric822
Buy these and save them as collectors items, lol.
TribeFan4Eva
Since you had already purchased the game it would be completely within your rights to make a backup of the original. what would be the best way to go about doing this? I'm not the best with these things........

SESbb30
could you sell one to me.
maddux31
See for those who thought they were collectors items, first the guy I spoke with at Ebgames said that he has been hearing that there will be NO pc baseball for quite some time, most of us knew this already. Second I am giving my cousin one copy for b-day..he's hooked since I referred him to this site. Third, one copy is for my laptop to play. The third is for my backup. Why does this seem crazy to some, when there are many people now paying way more for just one copy?? I think it was a very wise move and I personally could not be happier!! For the member who wondered if I would sell him one, I would but I already promised my cousin...sorry man..do what I did call all around your area you live in, you might get lucky and save some dough! I didn't think I would find any and I found three!!
SESbb30
i checked every store in my town, nothin. i was wanting to get a backup for cheap. i won 1 on ebay today. but thats ok, i just wanted a backup.
edm
I wish I could find another copy for cheap somewhere, I'd snag it up in a heart beat. I made backup copies about a year ago and haven't even removed the original disks from their case since. Now I just mount from the backups. They originals are nice and safe in case I ever need them. bmoney1045
Seriously, how do you make a backup copy of the original PC version? I figure I should do this because life would be much less fulfilling without MVP 2005.

angryrat
you can use programs like NERO BURNING ROM and burn an image of the disc and store that on your hard drive. Or you duplicate the disc using several programs out there. You can also use NERO to copy an entire disc.

pfalvey
I just clicked on an ad on this site offering MVP 05 as a free gift for filling out their registration and completing their survey. I'm sure you'll get spammed because of it, but it's cheaper than buying it.

Alvan9
I just bought 2 at my local Software Ect store. $29.99 each. Thinking of trying to burn a copy of my original, and if that works selling the two on ebay. I looked and their going for around $50.
