Team Changer Mod - Can this be expanded!

Hey Guys, very new to this modding thing, and also must say an incredible job with O7. I am one of those guys that picked this up over ebay just to see what you all have done, and I am very impressed.

Here is my question. I love having multiple dynasties. Have to have this in a sports game for me to play, especially baseball. I have downloaded and used Higgins team changer mod. I thought this would the answer to my prayers. It leads me to the water, but doesn't quench my thirst though. What happens after playing the first game of the day, and then using the mod, is that the rest of the days games are simmed. Thus creating a situation where only one franchise can have its game played on that particular day.

What seems to need to be done is to somehow prevent the rest of the days games of that day from being simmed after you leave the postgame stats. I in no way have any knowledge in the working of programming or such, so if I am in total ignorance to this subject and the abilities of modding, I apologize. But it seems like it would be something fairly easy to do. This would give us all the ability to truely control all teams in a season, dynasty or owner mode.

Any feedback would great.....and greatly appreciated. Would be will to donate alot for this.

Thanks.

After about the first 5 games you can play up to 3 games each day typically. But in order to do that you must back out after you play each game and not sim any of your minor league affiliates games.

This is, I think, due to having a need for the team you are playing to have an associated minor league affilitate game that day as well.

I have been playing 3 games per day for awhile now - 1 early day start time/ 1 mid day start time & 1 night start time.

Yes, sorta....or at least have the ability to play what game I want, and sim the ones I want....not on a daily basis....but thru out the day. Is this even possible with programming.

I think I can do it. I just thought of a couple of idea after reading stecropper's post. I'm testing them out now.

Edit: My latest idea seems like it will work.

Basic idea -- Create a duplicate game on the schedule for the first game you want to play. Then after you play the game, this duplicate game will need to be removed, and a duplicate game will be created for the next game you want to play. (The duplicate game prevents any automatic simming)

Example: There are 3 MLB games that you want to play on April 17th, and they all start at the same time, say 1:05 pm. Assume that they are in this order on the schedule: CIN @ PIT, CHC @ STL, MIL @ HOU.

So at the beginning of the day, you would run a program that will give you control of either CIN or PIT, and it will also create an identical CIN @ PIT game at 1:05. Then you would play/manage/sim the game. When you are done with this game, none of the other games would have been simmed because of the 2nd CIN @ PIT game.

You would then tell the program that you want to play the CHC @ STL game. It will then delete the 2nd CIN @ PIT game and create a 2nd CHC @ STL game and give you control of the team you choose. You then play that game. When that game is over, none of the other games would have been simmed because of the 2nd CHC @ STL game.

and so on.

Ty...I have been reading up on what you have brought to the table for this game, and I am amazed! If you where able to do this, I would for go console baseball games for ever...and be in dept to you for the rest of my natural life.

Now, here's the kicker. With the solution you are thinking of...are all the stats earned the games you have already played for the day....kept. Meaning, that when you talk about creating a "copy" of a game, then the program would erase it. As long as stats for the games played held....I think that would be great.

I know it sounds weird, to be able to play all and every game...but I think there are a lot of folks here and else where that really want the ability to play all and any game they could. Just gives us that much more control over teams and the years as they go.

Much thanks.

I'm sure that the stats will be kept. Nothing else will be affected.

How much are you thinking of donating to make this happen?

Go right to the heart of the issue bro.

I can't beleive the crap you can do.

Would $500.00 cash drive you to Madden cracking or is that laughable?

Sorry to hijack the thread.

I really wouldn't even know where to start with madden. (Though I could use the money)

I pm'd this to SkinsBoYee, but I'll post it here as well for the other people that have downloaded the program.

The left side is pretty much just like the team changer program, but easier to use. It just gives you control of the team.

The right side is what I made for you.

Basic instructions on how to use it:

Select the game you want to play. Then click the button for the team you want to control. That deletes any duplicate games that are already on the schedule, and then creates a duplicate game for the one that you want to play, and gives you control of that team.

The delete button will just delete the first duplicate game it finds. It doesn't matter what game is selected. (I designed it so that there could only be 1 duplicate game at a time). You would probably want to press this button when you are done with that day's games.

Attached is a new version of the program. It has one minor bug fix.

Also, The Team Changer in this version can only be used on February 22, 2007.

(The last version could only be used on February 21, 2007)

This date requirement will be removed after SkinsBoYee's donation is received.

Hey Ty...is it cool to make a donation to this site? I would rather do that....I assume you will be paid from it.

Let me know.

The Modders are not paid from donations to this site. If you want to thank Tywiggins for his hard work, and you have stated in previous posts that you wanted to, I suggest you donate to him via paypal.
