Is there a way to have the box that shows who is coming to bat and his stats stay on the screen longer than 5 seconds?

I need to look at this box sometimes a little longer than it now stays on the screen.

You can take a screen shot by pressing the prtscr buyyon, then open up paint. Thats about the only solution. Or you can hit R2 on the game pad and look that way.

You can pause the game or use the side menu to look at his stats, if that's what you mean. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure that's impossible to do.

What kind of controller are you using? You can just use the side menu as has been stated here in this thread by others. If you are using a Saitek P880, hold down on button 6, and scroll with the digital D-pad and you can see everything about the batter, and everyone else in both lineups.
