Player Detail Problem

I have installed MVP and it plays but the players look like the game is on Plastion One. When I go to the display options in the menu, player detail is set to low and is gray in color so it will not let me adjust it. Is there a way to adjust it or is this because my video card is perhaps not good enough. I have an eMachines PC that I bought in early 2004. How do I check what video card I have and how do I know if it is the right one for this game? I know these are basic questions but this is my first time playing a PC game. (I have always stuck to consoles before)

Thank you.

take a screenshot using either a program called fraps which allows you to take several pics, or press the prt src button on your keyboard which only remembers that pic until you press the button again.

I feel like the first time I played MVP Baseball on my PC, I was like the Hell!?! but I could adjust the player detail.

Im getting a desktop soon, so I will expect perfection with a graphic card better than Radeon 345M laptop card.

I don't have that program and when I do prt scrn then paste into the photo editing program it saves the pic as a blank white pic. I don't know what to do. I mainly need to figure out why I can't adjust the player detail and if it may be because of my video card. I can save the pic in a word file. Is there anyway I could post that.

you can attach the file in your post...just type something in the posting space and hit preview, underneath the posting area it should have an attachment option to post the document you have the pic saved on.

My Player Detail is stuck on "Low" and won't change. How do I fix this?

1. Download 3d analyze v2.0, which you can get here

Note: You MUST use version 2.0. The others do not work for MVP.

2. Open the program, and select the mvp.exe (Default location is C:Program FilesEA SPORTSMVP Baseball 2005), and look for Misc on the right side and where it says "countdown for disable rendering/disable state swiches in seconds" and input "0" in.

3. Run the game from 3d analyze.

4. In the in-game option menu, make sure helmet reflections are off. It wont work unless they are off.

Finally, here is a screenshot of what it should look like.

5. Now, back in 3d analyze, feel free to select other options to improve gameplay. There is an option to "remove stuttering/studdering" but some users found subsequent gameplay to be too fast. Experiemnt with different configurations to find what works best for you.

I have asked several times for this to be included in the FAQ, but mark keeps ignoring me. Its getting kinda annoying, especially since it still comes up quite a bit.

thank you jhath. that worked. now I have to figure out how to improve performance because the game runs kinda choppy now. I tried the remove studerring and it froze the game. Any other suggestions.
