pistonj92
I must admit, you got guts for saying that at an EA MVP Baseball website His first post too, well that's a great start. There is only one thing that everyone on this site agrees on, and that is, we love mvp baseball. So now it is 40801 of us against one, and he shall be smited! JP_Frost
Exciting stuff, but I kind of share Sean O's thoughts on this. EA is less likely to make pc games especially with the new consoles. Hopefully they realize that they are the only company that makes PC sports games and will stay loyal to us like we are to them ... which might be naive, but still. GEOLINK
I just hope EA gets it... but what about the NCAA? Didn't EA agree on making it too a certain year?
duckdodger215
2k sports does own EA in everything but baseball Exactly. I never played nfl2k that much, and not big into pro ball, but College Hoops is MUCH better than March Madness. Not even comparable.

Timp
NBA2k>NBALive NCAA2kBB> March Madness NCAA Football rules Madden<NFL2k (usually) MVP>SEX I thought the general consensus was that Madden was better than NFL 2K. I think Madden was way better than NFL 2K at least. This move would be bittersweet for me because I, like many others, LOVE NBA 2k7. I was a NBA Live guy up until this year (have no idea how I kept my sanity) and made the switch to NBA 2k7 this year and love how real it is. Timp
it took you till NBA LIVE 07 to know the series sucked Well, when I was younger, I didn't really care if the sports games I played were completely unrealistic, but now I want to play games more for simulation rather than just win 100-20. It was a change in philosophy, I suppose.
scotty2hotty
If EA would buy it, I would buy a PS3 or X360 so fast (that is...if they dont make it for PC), so fast, sorry I got nothing to finish that.
The Big O
EA still makes Madden for PC so if they got the rights back to baseball, one would think they would make MVP Baseball for it as well, though they have yet to port over MVP NCAA baseball. I believe that there is a reason why NCAA games aren't made for PC. Forgot what it is though, but none of the college games have ever come out on PC. jscand
EA used to make NCAA football for the PC (at least I know for a fact they did one year). It was back around '01 or '02 I think, but it wasn't just a port.
defender17
This could be good in the long term but bad in the short term. 2K knows they screwed up big time by buying the MLB license right after the greatest baseball game was made. That's why they brought in Ben Brinkman to try to bring in the things that made MVP so great. If 2K gets bought you are looking at 2-3 years of crap run off the production line just because they have to put a baseball game out. I mean you expect two competitors to merge seamlessly in less than a year, compile new org charts for who is going to head up the Baseball Game department (for lack of a better expression) and then synchronize what direction they are going to go with the series (title, ESPN properties, etc.) So from that IMO i would prefer 2K stay on its toes trying to install a greater consumer base by making the game better and better, so that when the license runs EA can jump in and we get two games trying to better the other. I would assume that with that big of a headstart 2k can make up the ground lost to MVP 05. Sorry about the long rant.
