stormshadow2
Hi guys, new here and wanted to ask a question. I loaded up MVP 05 on the PC (P4 2.8Ghz, NVIDIA GeForce 7800GS) and noticed that patches 2 through 5 cause the game to play like it is 5 times faster than it should be. Menus fly by, the scrolling scores go buy so fast I can barley see them and the ingame play is unplayable. Now I played this game before with the same hardware except I had an older video card (GeForce 420MX). Any ideas? Did these patches casue anyone elses game to play like this? I want to at least get patch 2 running becasue I thought this corrected the old stuttering problem with the game. Am I correct in stating that also? Thanks. Maybe a driver issue with NVIDIA? medric822
Well, I've had bad expierance with NVIDIA, so that may do it, but I doubt it.
Trues
Try this: 1. Start menu 2. Run 3. Type "dxdiag" in the box (without quotes) 4. Click on the "More Help" tab 5. Click on the "Override" button 6. Set override value to 60 7. Exit This should fix your problem.
stormshadow2
I will try that. Also, I have done some searching and see a lot of v-sync issues. I am assuming that I should turn v-sync ON in both the game and windows along w/ the help above also? I rememebr changing my v-sync to OFF within the video card for Oblivion. Trues
Yes, v-sync should be on.
