closetogenius
the league will be using polyester hats instead of wool, supposedly the new material will be better at keep players dry
seanzarelli
the new material will also keep the hats from shrinking much more than the wool material.

I hate how every 5950 hat I have eventually shrinks because of sweat and rain. Polyester will be a big improvement.

Polyester will be a big improvement. I know exactly how you feel KG. I usually have to buy my 5950's a size bigger than what I wear or else I won't get much use out of it. Plus I curve the bill which makes it shrink some too.
kgbaseball
I'm a big bill curver, too. I use rubber bands; screw the real hat curvers!
seanzarelli
The hat curvers are pieces of junk. I took a handful of them from Lids when I worked there one time and put them on some of my hats and the curve didn't even stay after I took the hats out of them. And they sat in the curvers for about 2 days.

Polyester will be a big improvement. I used to make it shrink because I never find a hat that is my size lol. I go to Lids all the time and if you look at three hats that are, say, 7 1/2, they are all different sizes but are labeled 7 1/2. So it's hard enough to find a hat the size of my head, just so it can shrink on me.
