Cincinnati_kid
I installed the mvp07 mod, without a hitch, however, when I start the game I get the screen with all the modders acknowledgements, and Ken GriffeyJr, then I get a error message saying somethings wrong with mvp 2005.exe has encountred a problem, and needs to close.please tell Microsoft. What gives? it does this every time I start the game. If it helps to know, I installed 07 over the 06 version. I tried to install in another folder (MVP07) and the .exe did the same thing as its doing now. Hope I don't have to uninstall/reinstall the game. Cincinnati_kid
Please. I really need some help in getting the 07 mod to work properly. Can anyone of the modders help me with this? I just uninstalled and reinstalled MVP05, folders included. I reinstalled it with all the patches. I didn't get the old file not found error, so I assumed I was in business. Installed MVP07, it went without any problems. After it finished, I ran the game and the same MVP05.exe has encountered a problem error showed up again. I'm at my wits end with this mod. Please help me out.
Cincinnati_kid
C'mon guys. No replies? I'm just trying to get this 07 mod to work. Would appreciate the help.
jogar84
You said you installed 07 over the 06 version. Bad idea. Just do a fresh reinstall of the game, add the patches and install the 07 mod again.
DJEagles
Do a fresh install of the game, and try installing the 07 mod to another folder. I installed the mod to a folder called "MVP 07", dunno why,but it would let me run the game with installing to a different folder.

redsox
Almost all of the mods come with their own readme file. Refer to that. They are very explanatory. Also, you would need to have WINRAR to access the files for these mods. If you don't already have it, get it from this website: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

westgats
hey guys, i've been having problems trying to play mvp. i had it installed on my pc (which has vista as the OS) for 2 months with the 07mod and it worked without a glitch. i just tried installing the new 07mod patch that's available at eamods.com, but now i get this error msg saying "mvp 2005 requires directx 9 and hardware graphics acceleration. i've reinstalled the game and applying the necessary patches and then installing the 07mod on itself, without the 07patch, but it still says the same msg. i've installed it in a different folder and i've ran it in windows xp compatibility mode as well as as the administrator. its ridiculous, i don't understand how it would be able to work first and not anymore. i wonder if anybody can help me on this? it would be muchly appreciated. thank you
whitewolf
westgats, It seems that your problem is not related to MVP 07 or MVP 05. Did you change your display drivers lately? Can you play other recent games? It seems to me that the issue is that your computer does not recognize the display drivers (the DirectX things). Go to Start->Run-> type "dxdiag" (without the quotes), and look at the Display tab. Installing new drivers for your video card should do it. If it doesn't, go to the microsoft website and reinstall DirectX.
