69Yanks
Is there a way to: 1. Extract in one step all of the fsh files in the portrait.big and then 2. Extract all of the fsh files into bmp in one step My goal is to get all of the portraits in bmp format or jpg. Thanks.
compmaniac
I don't know if there's already a way to do it, but I could write a program to do it...
UncleMo
compmaniac, this is EXACTLY what I'm talking about. Keep your mind open and then kick this game's butt. GJ.
kgbaseball
You could use biggui to extract them all, and then nfshtool to open up all the .fsh files, which will leave each .fsh with 2 bmps and an index file.
compmaniac
kgbaseball, wouldn't that take forever to do manually? And if you want me to make the tool, I'm going to need to know which of the fshs in the model.big are for portraits, because some are for cyberfaces, right? Are the faces all the files that begin with "g"?
xiberger
Portrait files are located in portrait.big, not in models.big.

Pirate
No captain question, it is really easy: Open Biggui and open portrait.big. You select all (ctrl-a) and then you click extract. All the files fall into a folder. You then select all those files and drag them onto NFSHtool and watch the magic.

Do you want a tool that will extract all the .fsh files using nfshtool?

kgbaseball
Just set up the .fsh to open automatically with nfshtool. You can do as many as you want then.

The Big O
Hey I was going to post a separate thread but this one looks good enough.. I'm looking to extract the three field.fshs out of each stadium.big file and put them in a new folder for each stadium labeled with the stadium.big name. I would copy all the stadiium.big files to one folder and run a batch file within the same folder which would do what I want. How would I go about writing a batch file to do this using EAzip? compmaniac
Oh, OK. I'll stop making the tool then. (I have my .fsh files automatically set to open with EAGraph.)

compmaniac
Do you think it would come in handy if I made a program that would extract any file of your choice out of ALL the stadium files?
compmaniac
The Big O, I've made the tool you requested. Just make sure you unzip everything inside it to your main MVP Baseball folder, ex. C:Program FilesEA SPORTSMVP Baseball 2005 It'll extract ALL the field0.fsh, field1.fsh, and field2.fsh files from ALL the stadium files into a temp folder in the main MVP Baseball folder.
