Favorite Stadium Mod Awards

On this Oscar night, I feel like handing out awards. What's your favorite stadium mod created since MVP 2005 came out? You may want to use the Comprehensive Park List stickied in the main MVP 2005 forum to see what's been released.

Stadium modders spend hour after hour staring at infuriating little dots, so let's give them a little bit of well-deserved recognition. The categories:

Best Modern Park

Best Classic Park

Most Accurate Park

Greatest Change in a Stadium

Best New Modder

Best Classic Modder

Best Modern Modder

Best Overall Park

Best Overall Modder

The winner gets the respect and admiration of everyone, a highly valuable prize. Have at it.

Forbes is gorgeous, truly a great creation. Probably forgotten amid the "flashier" parks, but paulw's work is brilliant.

If I may do the public service speech thing and interrupt the proceedings for a moment to say how much I appreciate the work of the stadium modders. I'm sure there are other folks out there like myself who, unless I win the lottery, won't see many of these parks in real life. Or, for that matter, none of us young baseball fans will be able to ever those that are already gone to the past.

Your work in stadium modding gives us a chance to be there, if only virtually. And for that, I salute you!

Here are my nominees:

Best Modern Park - Camden Yards by BigO

Best Classic Park - Forbes Field by Paulw

Most Accurate Park - (Not qualified to judge this one, I don't think)

Greatest Change in a Stadium - The New Busch from scratch

Best New Modder - Bodhiball for his minor league stuff

Best Classic Modder - Paulw

Best Modern Modder - BigO / SeanO / Pirate

Best Overall Park - Forbes Field

Best Overall Modder - Paulw
