oldtimey
I had exactly the same error. Try this. It seems to have cleared it up. Load game, then go to your dynasty screen. Minimize the game and use the Exporter/Importer program to export your dynasty files. Now run MVPEdit. Direct it to import the files you exported from your dynasty. Edit what you wish, then export to your MVP datadatabase folder. Exit out of the game. Run MVPEdit, import from MVP datadatabase folder. I received no runtime error. This is assuming you used 07maker to start dynasty after running the patch. I hope this helps you.
cubsfaninfla
I'm not sure what you mean...MVPEdit doesn't have anything to do w/ dynasties.
oldtimey
MVPEdit can be used to edit dynasties if you use the Exporter/Importer tool to extract the files while MVP Baseball is running. The files used in a dynasty.sav are the same files used in a roster.sav. The dynasty.sav just has additional files to accumulate current year stats, etc. When I edit using MVPEdit, I actually export the changes twice; once to my MVP data/database folder, then to the Exporter/Importer directory to import to my dynasty the next time I run MVP baseball. So, yes, MVPEdit can be used to edit a dynasty.

Cash #25
I got this error but it cleared up after I downloaded the latest version of MVPedit. The thoughtful creators of the '07 mod included a link in the "Extras" folder.
