boomhauer
I actually don't have MVP 2004, but I was looking into getting it. I doubt my CPU will handle MVP 2005 and I actually enjoyed 2004 better (I had both on Gamecube). From what I can tell, modding of 2004 is pretty much dead. My questions are: How much work would be involved in updating rosters to the present (2007)? Could I take a Total Minors file or Swinging Soriano roster file and update it using MVP edit or do I have to update the default 2004 rosters? I'm not real concerned with photos, mainly with players being on the right teams and possibly having updated performance stats. Thanks.
kgbaseball
MVPEdit for MVP 2004 can be found here. It would take an awful lot of work to get a full roster because I don't think it's backwards compatible (can't load 05 rosters into 04 MVPEdit). I'm not positive on that, but it'd be worth trying. Dagger147
I've thought about doing updates for MVP '04, but decided against it. I figured that there wouldn't be much interest in it.

I was talking about using an existing (but out of date, say from 2006) MVP 2004 roster file and updating it, not converting one from 05. Would I be able to use that roster file in a dynasty after I updated?
