would my game run faster with the screen resolution less, or more? Riegt now i have it at 800 x 600 but i can go up to 1280 x 1024...the game already runs kinda slow on the 800x600, would it be better with the higher or lower res. thanks

Run iyour screen refresh rate at 60 hz and it'll make it much smoother. If you're wondering how you're fps is doing, download fraps and test. Lower res will always increase fps... but at 800x600 it must look like crap.

WHat are your system specs?

that wasnt an answer to my question.....

Lower res will always increase your fps; ie. 800x600 will run faster than 1280x1024. Does that help? Basically at 800x600 you're seeing the best frame rate you're gonna see unless you turn off FSAA and AF in your video card's control panel.

Are you the Mike from the High Heat forum? If so I asked you a question there...

I would try using fraps to see where you are at...there is something funny about the coding of this game, at least on my machine, there is not much difference in performance from 800X600 all the way up to 1600X1200...AA and AF have an effect, but my framerates drop by less than 5FPS moving from 800X600 up to 1600X1200, and I would expect the difference to be way higher than that....

I guess my point is, run it in as high a resolution as you can...it's prettier!
