mikewienerm
Is it possible to adjust something so that players do not retire or stay in the game longer?

TheMadcap
I belive I remember Ron Mexico saying that you could change his progression file or resign file, I forget which. Modifying one of them will allow players to remain in the game until a later age. i don't know what the default (07 mod) is set to but it would be nice to have pitchers in the game until atleast 44 & position players till 40-42. D-Unit
But the problem is a lot of people retire younger than that, not everyone retires at 44. There's only a few exceptions to retiring over 40, at least compared to retiring at other ages.
mikewienerm
I mean like I want to major stars to retire at an older age. I hate how Roger Clemens retires after one season.

redsox
You could do the following. 1. Right after the world series is over, use TyWiggins importer/exporter to extract the .DAT files. 2. Import the .DAT files into MVPEdit and from MVPEdit extract the player who you don't want to see retire but most likely will when you go through the off-season. 3. Now, get back into the game and run through the off-season. 4. Now if the player that you extracted has retired, then you can use TyWiggins importer/exporter coupled with mvpedit to add him back into the game. I am not sure about this, but the only thing you may have to change is his age. But that is just simple. It may sound like there are lot of steps involved but it won't take you long at all. Of course, always back up the files that you are editing. In fact, make a backup copy of your dynasty file while doing this. Hope this helps.
