Expos07 Posted March 8, 2007 Share Posted March 8, 2007 Hi everyone ..I play mvp06 mod in my dynasty sometime I do hit home run inside the park with C.Duffy and the end of the game i do check my stat ,it isn't considered like home run i do get triple and RBI. One of those shallow flys down the line that bounces over the outfielder. Probably shouldve been a single plus error but they gave it no hit and error. Expos07 Posted March 8, 2007 Author Share Posted March 8, 2007 If i do remember that in the original mvp05 when u hit home inside the park that will give a home in u stat ..If i'm wrong correct me . with some player they have speed like juan pierre and furcal or lofton ..u can hit home inside the park .. It's kind of hard to see on that small video, but the center fielder was playing him shallow and shaded to right. on the original replay you could tell the ball was already past him before he could get over to cut it off. BTW Phillies your dynasty season what level r u playing ?? and do u make any ajustment in game tuning ?? your stat and standing real life... carter Posted March 9, 2007 Share Posted March 9, 2007 This is a known issue and there have been several threads created regarding this topic. However, while we're on the topic here, last night I was playing in Fenway, and Coco Crisp (now a Blue Jay) hit a liner up the middle and because the Red Sox CF was shading him towards left field, the ball made it all the way to the wall (the deepest part of Fenway) without being touched. Crisp ended up getting an inside the park homer, but was only awarded a triple in the stats. It's a small price to pay for such a great game!
