I've searched over but apparently no one has found a solution. I'm using MVP 07 default on all star with Hoop27's sliders. You've just run into the great anomoly of MVP - hits and walks are highly correlated. This really causes rating problems for guys who are generally wild but also hard to hit or guys with great control but get knocked around a lot.
