FLiriano
If you have the number one pick in the NBA draft, who would you take? I would take Durant in a second, he is a better offensive weapon and a solid defensive player.
RmembrZito75
Durant...no doubt about it.
Timp
My philosophy is always big guys over smaller guys, so Oden. He would allow everyone to play more aggressive defense, as he would be a great help defender, and he seems to be a solid (developing) offensive player. He's an intimidating, enforcer-type player, and has tons of potential (not saying Durant doesn't). Just look at how he was able to be a descent FT shooter ... with his left hand! By the way, what position does Durant project to be in the pros? I'm assuming small forward...
BrooklynNets24
I take Durant in a heartbeat. He is an all around player. He is a scorer a rebounder shoots the 3 ball and can hit Free throws.
brutushayesosu
Durant will make more of an immediate impact. Oden is a player that will need a couple more years to develop his game. Can you picture Oden going up against Shaq and doing much? I can't. I hope he stays another year but I don't know how you can walk away from being the #1 or #2 pick in the draft. djmakaveli
Oden...you wont get that amount of solid play with your one arm messed up from Kevin Durant... Greg Oden, faced him in High School me living in Indiana.... he is all the hype.
kgbaseball
Oden, there's no question about it. When you have the chance to have the next superstar center on your team, you take it. He's going to be the top defensive post player in the NBA for the next 10 years. Taking Durant ahead of him would be a huge mistake.

I think it's the other way around. A rebounding, shot blocking big man would make an immediate impact. Also, nobody goes up against Shaq and does much of anything. kgbaseball
I think Durant makes the impact first. He can step right in and be a scorer, while it will take Oden at least a year to become an offensive force, as he's not exactly Shaq in that department right now. Defensively, sure, he's good, but Durant should be better than Oden all around next season.
djmakaveli
Durant plays on a one man team to so he has to step up.... Ohio State does not want Oden going off for 30 points that is a team effort.

Another 7' center, Kosta Koufos,is coming. Jon Diebler is the one can not wait to see in the college game.
