YanksAllDaWay81 Posted August 15, 2004 Share Posted August 15, 2004 In my game im able to take leads by holding down the right shift key and pressing numpad 6 at the same time to lead and numpad 4 to shorten my lead. Im also able to slide with similar combinations. I dont quite remember exactly what to do but here is what i can tell you. First, go to your MVP folder that has your saved rosters,dynasty's etc. in it(My Documents/Mvp Baseball2004) Find the controller.cfg file and open it with notepad. When you open it up, look for these and fill them im with key sc_numpadX Use the numbers i have below and see if it works. Im almost completely sure that this is what you need to do to take leads(and slide) VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_RIGHT= key sc_numpad6 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_LEFT= key sc_numpad4 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_UP= key sc_numpad8 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_DOWN= key sc_numpad2 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_RIGHT= key sc_numpad6 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_LEFT= key sc_numpad4 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_UP= key sc_numpad8 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_DOWN= key sc_numpad2 Link to comment https://www.mvpmods.com/forums/topic/2788-taking-leads-from-a-base/#findComment-24208 Share on other sites More sharing options...
dero Posted August 15, 2004 Share Posted August 15, 2004 if you go into sliders, and set the user steal delay to -25, you will no longer need to take lead offs... assuming that you want lead offs, because you keep getting thrown out.
