yankees21311
Ive seen the latest uniforms mods and the look great. the have the undershirts go down to the elbow and the jersey stop half way down to the elbow. Players like Johan Santana, Jeff Francouer, etc. wear there uniforms this way. I am wondering if there is a mod that makes every player look like this or if it can be made. Thanks. Mav3rek
there will be before too long, I'm out of town and haven't had much time to work on it yet. first mod will be moving the wristbands up around the elbow area. After that I'm going to make them 3/4 length sleeves.
yankees21311
awesome thats exactly what i was looking for. thanks.
medric822
Yeah, you can make these yourself if you edit the arms. I think if you take the "uninstall" and "install" bat files from my bat mods, you'll be able to edit them.
Padres67
Somebody did three color sleeves-black,blue, and red. The only problem was that every team had that color because it was basically a skin mod. It would be great if someone that does uniforms would make it so the sleeve matches the uniform-is that what you are talking about?
HardcoreLegend
I think what he is going to do is replace one of the availible wristbands with a new model that would stretch 3/4ths of the arm.

That would make sense, so you could see them during the game anytime instead of the way long sleeves is in the game now-rare.

Exactly, and if the game has the 'team color' option as far as the color of the band, then the undershirt color would change depending on what team a player plays for. Mav3rek
your speculation is correct, the 3/4 length sleeves will be "wristbands" that are stretched. So the player won't be able to have sleeves and wristbands, just one or the other.

UncleMo
Two things: 1. What are you trying to show in the first and last picture? I don't see anything that has something to do with the shirts unless I'm suppose to see those guys in the infield further in... 2. Mav3rek and I are wondering if you're trying to do the shirts underneath or not on top of the pants or if you're just advertising here re: models being redone. Some clarification would help because Mav is trying to do the shirt mod, but is out of town and does not want to duplicate someone's work if you're trying to do it already. Thanks for any clarification.
HardcoreLegend
Wow, old school bump but thanks to gamebases sleeve mod, I've kinda figured out a cheap way of doing this. Basically, you have to create 11 BMPs for the forearms and 11 BMPs for the hands. You have to do it this way or else you get black players with white arms, etc. I'll probably only do this for the color red (Cardinals players) but through the skin tone feature, this is somewhat doable. HardcoreLegend
I figure it would probably just be easier if I do this player specific, hitting all the popular players. I've got a list so far of: Cardinals pitchers: Red Sleeves Ichiro: Long Dark Blue Derek Lee: 3/4 Light Blue Eric Byrnes: Long Maroon Suggest others that I'll consider. Please include the players skin tone number.

HardcoreLegend
wouldn't this mean that every player in the game with the same skin tone number would have those sleeves? No, because thanks to gamebase's mod, I was able to discover you can have up to 36 different skin tones. So, I can have the basic 10 and then 26 player specific ones. xiberger
What has always bugged me about the whole long-sleeves thing is the fact that they actually are in the game, but we haven't yet figured out how to trigger them on a regular basis. Anyway, this project looks really promising. Good luck with it!

Or just small arm bands (like Huston Street wears)? which files need to be edited?

HardcoreLegend
I was apparently wrong. When gamebase did this, he took the standard 10 skintones and expanded them up to 15. Well, I just tried to expand it up to 16 and it didn't work. In fact, it just gives you the same skin tone as 15. So, I guess it is limited to just the 5 extra skin tones, unless someone can figure out what I'm doing wrong.
Padres67
So we can finally have sleeves that match all uniforms in the game instead of a one size fits all that we now have?
