gclarkso
I'm a new member of MVPmods.com and am pleading "Please, make it stop!" First, it was UR 8.1 rosters...then to compliment the new rosters it was Total Portraits 2006. Thinking "OK, that should do it"...Right...Then came the Total MLB Uniform Pack v1.16. Could I get the monkey off my back? Pahleeze...I just stumbled across Big O's Oriole Park at Camden Yards 3.2. I swear I can now see smiles on the faces of my beloved Orioles in their new home. Just want to express a hearty "thanks" for these (and future) MVP 05 mods. Gordon
DJEagles
Glad your enjoying the site and becoming addicted to all the wonderful mods. We are debating setting up a 12 step program to help our members cope...LOL!
The Big O
If you think you are addicted now, just wait until you start actually modding things yourself. I'm just glad I graduated college before I switched to MVP from HH and started OEditing, otherwise I might have never made it!

Yankee4Life
I wonder what gclarkso is going to think when he realizes that he hasn't even touched upon everything that is here? Old time uniforms, classic stadiums, the Total Classics series, etc, etc.

superdee
yea, I was relatively casual and then all of sudden I stumbled upon a mod and uploaded it and then boom, all hell breaks loose. I find myself testing things more than playing of late, but the playing is now so much better than I think EA could ever make it...
Pirate
After years of therapy i have finally found solace in playing the game and no longer modding. THere is just nothing left to do and for the first time in the three years this game has been around I played 5 games in a single day. Won all five too. Once you start downloading you can't stop. There is so much to enjoy at this site.
medric822
"....It got to the point where I'd wake tossing and turning in bed, wishing I had a mod to download. I'd sneak downstairs, and start downloading. Then I'd feel better and go back to sleep. My grades were failing, my frieds were worried. Then my parents found my stash of downloads, and thats then the memory stick hit the fan. They entered me into rehab, and thats my story."

maddux31
I here you medric, I seriously no BS almost lost my now wife over this. When HH04 was being modded to hell, we would try to pack and re-pack and all that other crap for hours and hours until we would get it to work. I've come a long ways. It would lead to fights and arguements...I even had to go to her parents house secretly to download the mods...She was tired of it. Now it's so much easier...I'm a complete junky..At night I think I'm done for the day, then laying in bed, I think to myself I got Smoltz going next game..I lay there then get up and play the next game..Hoping to lower his ERA and creep closer to a playoff spot!! medric822
Lol, I'm still trying to figure why my fans are unhappy, when my team, the Yankees, are only 2 games behind Boston. Nevermind, I just figured it out.

TheMadcap
It started small, a few downloads a week, no big deal. I could handle it. But before I knew it it was taking over. Everywhere I went downloading was all I could think about. My addiction grew. I was downloading anywhere from 10-15 times a day at my peak, it was ruining my life. That's when somebody turned me onto modding. Big mistake. It took control. Everywhere I went (whenever I actually left the house) I saw faces I wanted to oedit. Expressions I wanted to photoshop. "Damn smile lines!" I'd say. People would just stare at me. What have I become? I wish I could tell you it gets better. I wish I could.

medric822
Lol. I think when I get married, I'll have either a baseball theme, or a MVPMods theme. But since someone had the baseball one already, I guess MVPMods it is. We'll have the reception at Yankee Stadium, lol. Hosted by Hyman.
The Big O
I have awoken in the night thinking about Oedit. I **** you not. Yep, during the height of my modding Oriole Park and Fenway I was thinking about them constantly to the point where I was actually contemplating skipping work a few times to mod all day to get things done. Pirate
My wife is pretty supportive of my habit, heck she bought me a Wii for Christmas.... but I only mod on days off and when she watches her girly shows. But I really have nothing up my sleeves now, so I just play when she's not around.

When I get locked in though, I just want to keep going until I get to a good stopping point, or I realize it's about 3 AM. :yernuts:
medric822
Now, we must all listen to music when we mod, right? We should switch ot watching Dr. Phill. One of us might be on it someday. For modding that is.
