"Team Rosters Current as of..."

On one of the first opening screens of MLB 05, it shows the current effective date of the rosters (on the patch 5 version, it's something like 12/15/05). If possible. how can I display the above to reflect the actual date of the rosters after they have been updated?

I think you'll have to install a new loading screen with that text updated.

With the 07 mod it says that the rosters are costantly(i don't know if i spelled right)updated by MVPmods

Thanks for that. So the 07 install doesn't display the actual date of the rosters if they were updated? If so, I wonder how EA did it after one of their patches were applied.

I have not installed the 07 mod, but piecemealed the standard 05 install with updated rosters, portraits, stadiums etc.

This is no big whup but am thinking it would be nice to know how recent your rosters were when booting up MVP.

it says the date like right now i think mine says current as of 2/8/07v

I edited the legal info screen so that it does not say exactly when the rosters were updated, but says that the rosters are continuously updated. I didn't put an exact date because not everybody uses the same roster and I don't keep track of when SwingingSoriano, kgbaseball or Totte release their roster sets

Thanks for the info. This all started when I was looking at the 06 mod download and noticed a screenshot of the legal screen displaying a roster date of something like 02/12/06 and thought that would be a nice touch.
