Sean O
Hey all- So, I'm a draftsman/designer who has a fair bit of experience in designing sports architecture, as my work in the fantasy ballpark thread has proven. Plus, from all the mods i've made over the years, it should be pretty clear that this is a serious passion of mine. I am wondering if people would be interested in paying to bring their ballpark ideas to life in three dimensions, whether virtually or in reality. As I said, I have done enough drafting and rendering in CAD programs that I can make pretty much anything a reality, and I would love to bring this to other people, to help them bring their dream park to reality. You would design the park, giving me as much information as you deem necessary, and I would bring it to fruition. Each person would pay a flat fee depending on what they would like, ranging from simple renderings of the park sent over e-mail, all the way to high-quality glossy images of the stadium sent through the mail, framed or unframed. My question is, how much would you pay, if interesting, in each or any of the following options? 1). Renderings from different angles of your dream ballpark 2). Renderings and a virtual walkthrough of the ballpark 3). Renderings and physical prints sent to your home 4). A physical model of your ballpark set to scale I've been drafting parks for years, and each has taught me invaluable lessons, so anything is possible. Thanks! Padres67
I would pay 50.00 for a rendering of a real minor league park in San Diego from '57-67 called Westgate park. There is maybe one or two pics of this-I went there as a young lad.
D-Unit
I would love a physical model of Yankee Stadium, preferably life-sized Great idea, and in all seriousness I would think about a small scaled version of it.

I'll have to figure out some things (payment, et al) before I want to commit to it, but it sounds great. I'll let you know.
Padres67
Thanks-I can't wait to see what you can do with it.
Sean O
Just as an update for everyone, Del requested Westgate Park, former home of the Padres, of which this is the only available picture: From that, I modeled the park in 3d as accurately as possible, ending up with: If you have any project, real or fantasy that you would like rendered, either post here or PM me, and we'll discuss the details. Word of mouth is my best friend as I work on my website. SP
UncleMo
20 bucks so long as the corners are easy for me to kill the ball, I'm talking 310, 325 feet from home plate.

These aren't for MVP because of copyright issues, and the fact that oediting takes freaking forever.

Sean O
Copyright issues? Why? I don't think EA would be too happy with me offering to take money in return for parks for their product. That's why I'm sticking to Vectorworks only, which is just a design platform.
