Backup of MVP 2005 Game

I am looking for a way to make a backup copy of both of my game CDs, as they are both getting pretty scratched up, especially the second CD, obviously. I realize that there are no-cd cracks around, but I am looking for a way to make a complete image of each disk. I have tried playing around with copying from Alcohol 120% and one or two other programs as well, with no success. Anyone had success with making images that could be burned to a disk and used in place of the actual game, both for install and running the game afterwards? If so, what program and what settings were needed?

O, and I did do several forum searches for this topic so please don't come after me for that. I was unable to find anything that worked for me.

Yea, I am aware of those, but I am not just looking for a way to play without the CDs. Mini-cds are great for running off the hard drive, but I am trying to find a way to make a full backup of both cds, since my install disk is getting messed up as well from having to re-install several times lately, due to a re-formatting and a few other things.

Just use Nero or Alcohol 120% or something and copy the CD. I'm pretty sure there's easy-to-follow instructions.

I used Alcohol 120% to copy mine...it reported a bunch of errors but it seems to have made a complete copy. You can't play the game with the copy in the drive, you still need the original (or a mini-disk image),but you can install it.

I just felt better having a copy of it so that I still have all the files around.

Hmm, so the copy can't be used in place of the actual cd for game play, huh? Well, then maybe the copy I made with Alcohol is okay. That's annoying.
