MarkB
33 minutes and nobody has told you, and you haven't figured out the fact that you're hosting a game on a local IP. Good luck connecting to it.

MarkB
I'm guessing you don't know much about how LAN vs. WAN technology works, do you? Only users inside your own network will be able to connect to your 192.168.0.2 IP game. If another user here has another system connected to his/her system which is using the same IP as you and attempts to connect to it, they will be told that there is no current games active, or whatever the error is - I can't remember. That happens because - wait for it... Your 192.168.0.2 and UserX's 192.168.0.2 are two totally different systems, on two totally different networks, in two totally different places. You'll need to provide your external IP and host the game on that for users to connect to it. However, I would strongly advise against posting it in the open forum. five
To find the wan ip, you can use something like whatismyip.com.
evil1182
For some reason I still can't host a game, I forwarded all the right ports from portforwarding.com.
Trues
You have to setup port forwarding. The ports MVP uses are... TCP: 80 and 443 UDP: 10001 Checkout this site, find your router model, it'll give you a short step-by-step on how to set it up. http://www.portforward.com/english/routers...routerindex.htm
evil1182
I have to forward a lot more ports than that.
