Disabled List

why would you want that? In real life there's only the 15 day and 60 day disabled list if I'm not mistaken. If a player is injured for 22 days, then that sucks, because you have a decision to make -- put him on the 15 day DL twice or just once and use up a roster space. I myself just send those players down to the minors and let them rehab so to speak. That way you won't use up a roster space and you won't keep someone on the DL for nothing.

No... It doesnt work that way in real life... I have researched it... If a player is placed on the 15 day DL, then they must stay on it at least 15 days, but they can stay on it as long as needed. If a player is placed on the 60 day DL, they can stay on it as long as needed, but they have to stay at least 60 days. The advantage of using the 60 day DL is that the player does not count against your 40 man roster. If they are on the 15 day DL, then they count against your 40 man roster, but they can be replaced on the active 25 man roster.

So, in effect, if Chipper Jones is injured and going to be out for 27 days, he can be placed on the 15 day DL for 27 days, and Martin Prado can be called up to take his spot for those 27 days. If Mike Hampton is injured for 183 days, he can be placed on the 60 day DL for 183 days, and Free Agent Roger Clemens can take his spot of the 40 man roster.
