beerha21 Posted March 22, 2007 Share Posted March 22, 2007 Alright so.. I am the Orioles... i know not the best team but I always have to play as them because they are my hometown team. I try to keep the rosters as accurate as possible and do not make any trades to help bolster my team. HOWEVER... I really like Texiera and would love to see him come back home to Baltimore in '09 when he is a free agent. Anyway... would you if this was your team trade for Texiera although you like to keep the rosters accurate. I was thinking about giving Texas Hayden Penn, Jay Gibbons, Nolan Riemold and then after that give them 2 0r 3 more top notch pitching prospects for one of there low key prospects. There's actually talk of him going to Baltimore in a couple years, and Teixeira said he'd love to go to the O's. I'm thinking Texas would love to have Penn, but not Gibbons. They've got Jason Botts who could probably play 1st full time with Teixeira gone. Although, Gibbons can play multiple positions, and the Rangers could use some outfield help. Reimold could end up like a Pat Burrell clone, so there's some value there. I think Texas would also want a top pitching prospect, and Radhames Liz or Garrett Olson fit that bill.
