Man, did you see Ramirez just smoke that 3-run bomb to leftfield. Sweet.

What a turn of events for Pittsburgh, eh? I wonder if they were sniffing around to get him back instead of Izturis. ;)

Seriously, he's nothing but clutch this year.

wow, joerudi you've got one heck of a show here. good work on your dynasty so far

Thanks, Kazmir26.

It's been a fun season so far, and will possibly go down as one of my favorites. I've had more fun this year with the Cubbies than I probably ever had with Oakland.

Trying to catch Houston is going to be tough, but I'm not going to give up. They've got to falter at some point. Or at least I hope. :)

Heads up JR. Cubs/DiamondBacks on WGN as I type this. Have a few brews on me man.

Thanks, man. I actually looked and didn't think they were on. CSN or something on the schedule it said.

Anyway, thanks for letting me know.

I know you're close, but is it SPRING there today too??? Wow, what a July, eh? :)

Just a small update:

Houston has lost 2 in a row, which puts me 5 games back of first place in the Central, the closest I've been in about 2 months.

The Cubs now lead the Wild Card Race by 1 1/2 games

July 22, 2007 - Arizona @ Chicago (Game 3)

*Game Tied 1-1*

*Chad Tracy homers with 2 on*

*Tony Clark solo home run*

*Chad Quentin solo home run*

*Arizona 6, Chicago 1*

Chad Tracy unties the game in the top of the 10th inning

Jacque Jones went 3-4 at the plate, and made some outstanding defensive plays in left field

Chicago's only run was on a pick off error in the bottom of the 2nd inning

Derrek Lee and the Cubs played great defense, but Arizona exploded for 5 runs in the top of the 10th inning

Good lord. Who does Arizona think they are.

At least Houston is losing some. :wtg:

*My latest update is up.

This game was on cruise control, M. 1-1 through 10, and BAM. Arizona woke up and I was finished.

Thanks for the headsup on the update. Been busy still, so I've not been on much.

Wow, this is simply amazing, but im guessing you already know that

Thanks, aaron. The presentation has slowed down a bit, but the games are still being played. With the bulk of the season upon us, and visiting relatives, I've had to slow down a bit with the graphics.

I'm having a blast with the Cubbies this year, and I've got too much invested (56-42, 5 1/2 back of first, tied for Wild Card) to give up. It won't happen. :)

To keep things from being redundant, backing off on the presentation now allows readers not to get too burned out, and eventually it will allow me to come up with something fresh for the stretch at the end of the season.

Thanks to all that are still following. :)

tough loss, but you cant win them all, this is going to be a great finish to a great dynasty

That's right redsfan. Once you have your sliders set to give you some realistic results, it really can become a challenge.

I'm hanging around the top of the division, and the Wild Card is looking good too, even with alot of baseball to be played yet.

This is still looking great, JR. BTW, have you checked out my dynasty yet? Click on my sig to view it!

Yep, I've been there Apr, it looks great. Excellent job so far, and I have no doubt it will get better.

Keep it going. :)
