Not a bad debut for Marmol. Hopefully you can keep this lead on the rest of the pack.

He gave up a couple of homeruns, but other than that he was pretty solid. No worse than Wood has been lately. :)

WHAT! Blue Jays in first? LOL Red Sox In 4th!

Yeah, I can't explain it either. From the looks of it (the dynasty), Boston's pitching just hasn't held up.

I love this dynasty.

Thanks, D. It's been a long ride, but a fun one. I'm hanging on by a thread. :)

Now this is what I like to see... THINK BLUE!

Keep it up JR.

Hey Bronx, you seen this new stadium by rolie? Incredible stuff. It looks as if the Dodgers are going to be playing the post season in style. :)

Yeah, it is an amazing piece of work. But I play MVP on my laptop and I experience stuttering. Looks phenomenal nonetheless. Hopefully you'll play the Dodgers in the new stadium!

I'm getting 48 fps in the pitcher/batter interface, and 60 fps every where else, so it's not too bad for me. I think he's been talking about deleting some of the ad animations to smooth it out a bit.

Even so, I can tell you right now, I want no part of the Dodgers. I'll be going home early. ;)

JR - is this new boxscore set up permanent?

I don't know, phils. The last couple of games (boxscores) that I've tried to upload, it says 'invalid file type'. Strange, because I've done nothing different.

It's alot easier to post it that way, but I've been working on something entirely different that I might start using, something I've created hopefully for the post season.

This is nowhere near finished, but here's an example:

BTW, your Phillies have taken the first 2 games against the Mets, allowing me to stay ahead in the WC race. :)

Glad to see Pujols and Rolen aren't killing you too bad like last time.

Yeah, Pujols homered in the first game of the series (Cubs won 5-4), and I've pretty much stayed away from him since. I've walked him a couple of times, and he's K'd a couple of times, so he's being contained pretty well.

Rolen has gone 4-7 in the series so far, and homered in the first game as well, Mulder just shut down my offense.

The Cardinals are pretty well balanced from 1-9 though, at least on paper, and Eckstein, Encarnacion, Duncan, and Edmonds all keep my pitching on edge.

I'll be happy just to win the series.

**The Cubs were down 5-0 going into the top of the ninth, and scored 5 runs to tie the game. Jason Kendall homered in the top of the 12th to give the Cubs the win**[/align]

Jay, I am really lovin' that new custom box score. The only thing I see that could stop it from being perfect is the excess use of blue - but of course that is just my opinion. Anyway, looking forward to the last couple of weeks and here's to hoping that you can get to the playoffs - wild card or otherwise.

Thanks V, long time no see! :) Hope things are going good for you. As far as the box score, you are absolutely right, and after looking at it again, I'm am going to take your advice and change the blue to black, and make things a little more uniform.

If you've been following at all, it's been 'see saw' for the last 3 weeks, I can't shake Houston entirely, so it looks as though things are going to finish tight.

It's been long, it's been redundant at times, but I gave my word to see it through, and that's what I've done. But I have to say, it's turned out better than I ever would have expected. Although the Central is obviously week, I had a feeling about this Cub's team from the beginning of the season, and I truly hope they get in the Playoffs in real life. What a blast it would be to see Sweet Lou back in the post season again. :)

But anyway, I am (and have been) looking forward to seeing how your dynasty unfolds in the end. I'll definatley check in when I see you've updated things. :)

Thanks, stevie. Without a doubt, the funnest game I've played all year. I had given up going into the 9th down 5-0, then the bats came alive. Ramirez hit a 3 run shot with one out, but I still didn't think I had a chance.

I managed to get 2 more across the plate, then I tried to paint corners around Pujols and Rolen, and luckily they couldn't find any offense. I wish the boxscore extractor displayed the game correctly, this was a hell of a game.

Down by 5 runs in the 9th ! My oh my ! It would be nice to know what did Lou say to his batters just before entering the last inning ! What a great way to end a game ! Keep it that way JR... U're getting close
