Down by 5 runs in the 9th ! My oh my ! It would be nice to know what did Lou say to his batters just before entering the last inning ! What a great way to end a game ! Keep it that way JR... U're getting close

It's been a struggle all year with the offense, pierre. I think Lou might have threatened some jobs. ;)

Seriously though, it was an extremely fun game, probably my favorite of the year. I'm sure that was my best comeback of the year.

Cincinnati outlasted me in my last game, the Red's pitching just wouldn't throw anything across the plate.

I need to get em next time. :)

JoeRudi, this has been the best dynasty at mvpmods. and i thank you for keeping it up this long.

Thanks for the comments, SES. I've seen alot of good ones, I just wish some of them would have been taken to the end.

This one has turned out much more exciting than I would have expected. It was pretty bleak around the All-Star Break, but somehow I got back into contention.

Either way, playoffs or not, this one will be completed. I'm trying like hell to get in. :)

I have to say this again - the box score is a thing of beauty. Its very nicely done. And Jay, I have been working on and off with my dynasty, creating templates here and there - I just need to get some games in. I just can't give a definite time frame for it though. Hopefully sooner rather than later. But for the moment, I am just sitting back and enjoying this great dynasty of yours come to its most crucial point. Get it done JR!

Thanks redsox. I took your advice on dumping the extra colors, and it turned out pretty decent. I have to say though, this might have been the toughest one yet. Nothing to it now, it's just adding the numbers. I'll probably just use the boxscore templates if/when I make the playoffs.

I've been checking in on your dynasty now and then, and I'm pretty curious as to what you've come up with.

Looking forward to it. :)

Yeah, he's definately been coming through lately, especially in the clutch. He's 7-15, 1 HR, and 5 RBI's over the last 5 games. Not exactly MVP numbers, but it's an improvement from what he's produced for most of the season.

With 9 games left on the season, I have a feeling this isn't quite over.

Yea definatly not MVP numbers but its not always about posting 40+ HRs and 120+ RBIs because thats worth nothing if the player doesnt deliver at the end of the season for a team in your position in a division race.

Exactly. :)

Jay, I am quite surprised that Soriano is in the MVP ballot but yet, Aramis Ramirez is no where to be found. From what I have seen so far in your season, he has been a constant over at 3rd base.

The 07 mod seems to like players with high SB totals.

And how about some of the Standings:

Arizona, Milwaukee, and Cleveland are all in last place in their division, with Houston, Toronto, and Los Angeles (Dodgers) first or near the top of their division.

This could be due to injuries, or just some players not performing like they normally do, I really haven't looked much into it.

But with that said, I would never have guess the D'Backs, Brew, or the Indians would have been at the top in real life anyway.

Either way, it looks like new blood in my playoffs this year.

I know. Ramirez is hitting around .300, 34, and 105. I think phils is right, the PC is somewhat attracted to stolen bases for some reason.
