Ouch, Pujols and Rolen put the wood to ya in that series.

Very Cool Dynasty!!!

Thanks stevie. Yeah, there was no stopping Pujols and Rolen. Zambrano got bombed then Wuertz came in and got shelled too.

I've got to tighten up on these guys in game 3.

I just read over this dynasty again and the depth chart that you created look phenomenal. I think I liked that the most. And then of course the many different forms of your post-game highlights. That depth chart though must have taken some time to do. To be honest with you, I think I enjoyed this dynasty while reading it the second time around. Ok, I guess thats enough flattery for one day  , don't you think? Just kidding man. Take care.

lol, thanks redsox. It has taken some work, but not as much as one would think. I've had most of these ideas for a long time, I just didn't do anything with them.

The most important part (to me) is the game. It's winning, losing, but mostly the 'road' getting there. Right now my hitting is a little weak, but not TOO unrealistic. Everyone in the game doesn't hit .300, so I'm almost satisfied with the way the game plays.

Besides, you got a gem over there brewing on the East Coast. Stick with it. Just go easy on the A's, k?

Really enjoying this dynasty JR. Your templates keep getting better as you go along. Like you, I like to play a team with their lineup/roster pretty much as is. Not a big fan of fantasy drafts, unfair trades, etc.. Now if things keep getting worse, then we start trying to wheel/deal though. To me its a challenge and makes the dynasty fun. Keep up the great work.

Thanks Maestro, glad you're enjoying it so far. I agree about the lineup/roster thing. I've only played 3 weeks worth of baseball, so there's plenty of time for things to 'even out'. As a matter of fact, I'm in pretty decent shape for having such turmoil in the lineup, but I'd rather work it out than ditch the roster and start dealing.

I'll evaluate things around the All-Star Game/Trade Deadline. If the season looks hopeless by then, I may start to make some moves.

With that said, I'd much rather see this roster (and whatever moves the Cubs make in real life) go through the season.

Nice win, you got a solid performance out of Lilly and Floyd.

After the last couple of games, I really had to buckle (Lilly) down on this Cardinal lineup. If you make one mistake against Pujols and Rolen, they will wax you. I haven't looked too much into their stats yet, but the 9-10 record has to be on the pitching end. I'm going to check it out when I head to St. Louis at the end of this month.

Floyd is flat out driving the ball now. If he gets a pitch to hit, he's hitting it hard. I figured he would come around sooner or later.

I have a suggestion...it's a lot of work, but you could do an ESPN update with your template of the post game highlights. I think it would make things a lot more interesting. Just giving a suggestion.

Thanks for the input, Zito, but I'm not really sure what you mean by 'ESPN update'.

The pic. with the Cliff Floyd AB looks really good.

BTW, your Lou is not going to be making the same kind of outburst that we saw today right  ? That kind of yelling just can't be good for his health.

It was just a matter of time before Sweet Lou exploded. Just happened sooner than I expected. I don't blame him one bit, considering how they coughed up that lead today.

My Cubbies need a good swift kick in the *****

I'm telling you guys, Sweet Lou doesn't mess around. If he has something to say, he's going to say it. He's one of the reasons I decided to go with the Cubs dynasty this year, he brings alot of personality.

I don't blame him either. I cannot imagine what would happen if "my" Cubbies went on a losing streak. ;)
