JoeRudi26
Wow. The change to the white part really did it IMO. Outstanding work I agree, it does look better. Thanks again for the input, sf. Geesh, sweeping the first round of the playoffs leaves you with some serious time on your hands.. What to do next. ;)
sfgiantsflgators
Are you going to wait until the NLCS starts to keep with your theme - or playing on your own time now?
JoeRudi26
Are you going to wait until the NLCS starts to keep with your theme - or playing on your own time now? Good question, sf. I've been thinking it over and weighing some options. Not that it's a big deal, though. A. Keep the real schedule, take the extra days off and maybe try and put out some 'special' templates. B. With 4 days off until Game 1 of the NLCS, and following the real schedule, I will be here until damn near Halloween just 'sitting around' waiting to post the games. I honestly don't know yet, and like I said, it's not really a big deal. I'll take a day and think about it. :)
pierrick
JR ? Thinking about modding for overlays ? What a great new  ! As we all should agree your PS work is amazing and I'm not the only fan you can count as I can see by following your thread ! So it would be definitly fun to see what it could be and have ourselves a part of your "know-how" during our own games  ... Really looking for news on that topic... My opinion on your TBS overlay...damned good !!

JoeRudi26
Thanks, guys. If I could find a tutorial, I'd definately give it a shot. I've searched the forums but could only find one for MVP 2004.
redsox
Thanks, guys. If I could find a tutorial, I'd definately give it a shot. I've searched the forums but could only find one for MVP 2004. I think Trues wanted to create a tutorial but I believe he just didn't have the time to get one done. I had played around with some basic editing - and its not as bad as I thought it would be. I will probably delve deeper into it maybe after my dynasty gets over.
JoeRudi26
I downloaded the tutorial for the 04 version and I've followed the instructions step by step to no avail. I can get as far as trying to open the file in PS, but it says it's the wrong kind of document. 1. Backup your igonly.big file in the datafrontend folder in your MVP directory(usually C:Program filesEA SPORTSMVP Baseball 2004 2. Open up Eagraph. Open the file “igonly.big†located where I told you above ^^. 3. Click “ingameov.fshâ€. Click the export button and save it where you can easily find it. Click Yes when asked to decompress it. 4. Repeat for “pitchslc.fsh†5. Open FshEd. 6. In FshEd, open ingameov.fsh or pitchslc.fsh 7. These are the important files: ingameov.fsh · EABG.fsh - One of the main logos(whatever station you are doing an overlay for) · EASP.fsh - Same as above. pitchslc.fsh · Ps00-ps03 – Pitch selector if you want to change colors. · Psbr – the bar that shows how good a pitcher is at the certain pitch, if you want to change the color of that. · Sout – the main scoreboard that shows in game. · Scr2 – half the scoreboard that shows combined with the runner pip. · Scr0- the other half · pt15 - pt00 – Pitch type selector if you want to change that. 8. Whatever you want to change, click it. Click the export button. Select “24-bit Bitmap + Alpha Bitmap†and save. 9. Open the files in your image editor and edit. That's as far as I get. The problem could be that it's for the 04 version, I'm just not sure.

ZAN71789
JoeRudi26, Long time follower of your dynasty. I finally registered here so I could post. I'm an avid Cubbie fan, and I'm happy to see you taking them to the World Series, since they haven't done it (in real life) in over 50 years! Keep up the great work, -ZAN

Keep up the great work, -ZAN Thanks, Zan, and welcome aboard! It's been a great season, but from what it looks like (with the Dodgers), I've ran into a buzz saw. These guys, in this game, are extremely tough to keep off the basepaths. Saenz and Pierre are having career years and it's rolled over into the playoffs. It's going to be a scrappy series. sfgiantsflgators
:stone: At least Lee showed up. Hit Pierre in the knee with your first pitch of Game 2. Just a thought. :rocklicker:
JoeRudi26
Hit Pierre in the knee with your first pitch of Game 2. Just a thought. :rocklicker: Hell no, that would put him on first base. I can't stop him one legged. But yeah, Lee was tough. Ramirez hasn't done much, and Floyd is just about to take a seat for a couple of games. The Bums are tough, sf. I need to send this game somewhere and get it fixed. :)

sfgiantsflgators
Game 3 is a hell of a matchup. I gotta think you can take Billingsley. Prediction: Cubs 6, Bums -8 (or 3)
JoeRudi26
Yep, Game 3 should be a duel. This will be the third time this season they've gone head to head. Schmidt had a no decision (7.2 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 9 K) on May 25th, and lost to Zambrano on September 3rd, 4-2. Basically, Z has beat him both times he's faced him. He's due. redsox
Isn't that arguably the best modded stadium that you have played at? I think rollie did one hell of a job with Dodger Stadium.

Agree, I love that stadium. Tough loss in Game 1 JR. Looks like you should take Game 2 though. You're right on Game 3, that will be a duel. Looking forward to that one. Good luck man. :wtg:
JoeRudi26
Thanks, M. I feel priveledged on one hand that I get to at least play in that stadium for the playoffs, on the other hand, Game 2 is finished. ;)
