Yeah, they did fred. I was in a hurry with the finishing touches, didn't really check all the facts and numbers yet. As a matter of fact, I think Seattle actually went 83-79 instead of 89-73. lol

I'll get everything right when I put out the finished product. :)

Two games over .500 won the West? Parity! Mediocrity! So much for the NL Central being the mediocre division!

lol, I'm not really sure about that. I've looked at so many numbers messing with these templates, I could be wrong.

Anyway, here's the Cub's version. This one will probably change too, I'm not sure I like the color scheme.

I liked TBS's graphics but they still need to get some better announcer's... I like the trio for the NLCS but some of the others used for the Division Series were horrible. And if they wanna make a push for full rights they better get off cable because I doubt MLB ever takes the World Series off network...

Of course, it's personal opinion and taste, but I agree for the most part. I actually don't care for any of the commentators that TBS has been using. I don't necessarily dislike them for one reason or another, I just don't warm up to Chip Carey or Tony Gwynn. I think they're both weak.

I call it the Steve Stone Syndrome. :)

In my area, I'm flooded with Joe Buck, Chip Carey, and the all obnoxious Hawk and Wimpy combo out of Chicago. What I would give to hear Vin Scully and the late Curt Gowdy calling the post season. But of course, that's my personal taste.

But with that said, you gotta give mad props to the TBS graphics department, this year's presentation has been breath taking.

After listening to McCarver for so long, I'd welcome a booth full of chimps over another year of FOX.

I'm not sure if I've ever heard anyone more obnoxious than McCarver.

I'd rather listen to Gilbert Gottfried calling an Olympic Curling Event.

Thanks, GRS34. I've changed them around a bit, and I'm working on the starting pitcher's templates now.

Not sure when I'll start Game 1, probably in a couple of days.

Don't rush things JR. Enjoy this World Series.

*When you do begin, make sure the family has enough food and water to last them.

Thanks, M. I'm not going to rush it, I think I'll take advantage of the days off pending the Sox/Indians series. I want to take my time and create a good presentation for the series since I'm basically a newcomer there and might not see it again for a few years. :)

But anyway, I've been through it all this season, that's for sure. Since moving my PC into the dining room/living room area in June, I've been present for most of the activity that goes on here day and night. From the kids fighting over Mario Baseball (and GOD forbid who gets to bat first) to possessed cats to a band of Norwegians camping out in my house for a month.

Me and the Cubbies have seen it all in the 6 months I've been posting and I'm not entirely sure if I can be surprised at this point. To top it off, can you believe the wife made me work this morning?

The nerve.. ;)

So, I'm taking my time, getting things nice and together, then we'll get to Game 1.

I can't wait. :)

I have a soft spot for the Mariners as I love the city of Seattle and hope to live there one day...

...but the Cubs just beat the Bums, and for that I am forever greatful.

Decisions, decisions. :chin:

The Cubs beating the Bums is an overstatement.

I've been curious about the stress that it put me through in connection with how many years it took off of my life.

But hey, it IS baseball. :)
