The lineups I had posted before this game were wrong. I forgot about the DH rule going into Seattle. Jacque Jones (Chicago) started in RF while Floyd DH'd and Ben Broussard was the DH for Seattle.

sweet win man. You gotta love those crooked #'s.

Definately, since I haven't seen them much all year, lol. Despite getting as far as I have, I can't imagine how many one run wins are in the bag.

Jay, been a while since I last posted, but all I have to say this time around is that you have once again managed to create a truly awesome presentation. Really like the way you presented the pitchers. Looks like I am leagues and leagues behind in regards to the presentation. I have just now started to present the pre-game reports similar to what you used to do with your Athletics dynasty. Hope you don't mind me grabbing these ideas of yours.

In regards to this series - great job on grabbing a 2-1 lead. I wonder if Bartman or "The Goat!?" will make an appearance during sometime during this series?

Thanks, V. They score 2 runs in the first, and I was thinking 'here we go again'. And then they just collapsed. Nothing.

If this is a sign of things to come, I'll get my first...eh, ring. :)

Nah, use anything you like. This dynasty is all but over, if and when I do another one, it will be completely different.

Looking forward to you getting back to posting!

I second that too! I want my future dynasty to look at least half as good as JR's one, good job JR :wtg:

I don't even know what the hell Marques de Sade means. :)

I hope I'm right in this because, if not, I could look like quite the idiot... :D

Marquis is a term used to describe a class of royalty in monarchies, but I don't remember the specific levels. The Marquis de Sade lived in the mid-1700s (give or take a few decades) and was said to have written about and participated in violent sexual acts.

The terms sadism and sadist are derived from him.

Nice and cheery fellow. On with the dynasty :D

You are correct sir. If anyone wants to know more about the Marguis de Sade, watch the movie Quills.

2 more to go! close this thing out!

Thanks for the info, guys. I suppose I could have looked it up, but you know how it is being in the midst of a World Series.

If I don't focus, I might have the Marquis de Piniella breathing down my neck, and none of us want that. ;)

Seriously guys, thanks for the good words.

Game 4 today.

*Like I said, I didn't make these nicknames up. A little research and it's amazing what you come up with. As far as Marmol's nickname, it guess it all boils down to the fact that he was an ugly baby. :)

lol, HoRam. let's keep this G-rated JR :)

:lmao:

There was a reason I didn't post a link to the history of this nickname.

I was afraid where it might take me, but I hear he's pretty popular on the road. :player:

Awwww damn tough loss JR, You'll win it, dont worry

It was a pretty decent game, actually. I had them down, they just managed to battle back and hold on.

Win or lose, games like this are still fun to play.

This is the most passive team I think I've faced all season. They lay low for 6 or 7 innings and then suddenly they heat up.

It's apparent after 4 games, it's been that way all series.

I was lulled to sleep in this one, and then I'm looking up at them on the scoreboard. Looks like maybe I need to stay awake in Game 5. :)

this is a tuff one bro. i'm getting the impression that when I type; "1 game at a time", you get more focused. we both would really enjoy a World Series, so i'll do what I can.

1 game at a time bro.

also, after Marmol came through in the L.A. series, i'm a little mad at his little video game ***.

is it wrong to get mad at a video game version of a player? not sure, but i can't stand him right now. Guzman either.

good luck in game 5.

Great results in this WS... 2-2 is real good before coming back to Chicago... As a M's fan can I just ask you to let the hometown crowd enjoy the last game at Safeco ? And beat them in Wrigley... Just a wish of course lol... Seriously, an even count after 4 games I think really mean this serie is quite yours... Can't wait to see those special templates for WS chanmpions... Hold on JR !!
