lol, I hear you about Schmidt. I defect for one season, and Rich Harden is blazing a path to a Cy Young.

Thanks, man. Same to you on the dynasty. I've been reading along, don't give up. ;)

*edit- Speaking of Schmidt, I forgot to put the left parenthesis next to his team name. I hate when that happens. :D

Hate it when that happens as well - so much of a pain to get back in to photoshop to fix it.

Thanks for the well wishes with mine - I assure you it will continue to get updated; but with the season approaching, I've been working about 12 hours a day (including this wonderful Saturday)...so the dynasty is crawling along right now.

Good luck with the rest of your season :D

Me either. This is going to be one of the most original dynasties I've seen on here in a long time.

I would like to see someone present the WBC as well. redsox has his hands full, but I think he mentioned doing it, I could be wrong.

Another idea would be (when it gets here) for someone, or multiple people to simulate the All Star Game with actual rosters, or even in their own dynasties as well.

The playoffs are a long way off, but that could be another idea.

Thats right JR. I was planning on doing the WBC, but it has hit a roadblock. All the team rosters are not done and I am not really sure as to where I can get the caps for the different teams from. I am actually planning on a total classics presentation for my next one - with just the teams that have played in the World Series.

Like you said, I would always like to see unique dynasties/games being posted on the boards.

Total Classics would be cool too, and I would definately interested in following, or even someone doing a 61, or 94 dynasty.

Something I've always wanted to see (but I know can't be done) would be a High School mod, where people would be represented by their own high school, with the names (school names, unis, etc.) of their actual players, including 'yourself' as you do the dynasty.

Of course it couldn't be done with MVP 2005, but as I said, something like that would be pretty cool.

Anyway, HFLR has already stated that he should be ready by June, and since the Carribean season only lasts for 60-70 games, that one should be a fun one to follow too.

Good game JR, I hope you can get the series against the CWS

Game 3 prediction:

Chicago WS: 2

Cubs: 4

Good job, I actually forgot about the prediction. Nice call. ;)

Nice job man. You never cease to amaze me or others by providing a different take on the dynasty/games. Great job!

Thanks, redsox. You never know what can happen in a span of 162 games. If you think you've seen it all, I can guarentee you haven't.

As a matter of fact, I'll never forget the game where Chuck Knoblauch overthrew 1rst base on a routine grounder and beaned Keith Olbermann's mom in the forehead.

Or the two drunk fans that jumped out of the stands and attacked Kansas City's first base coach. (I'm pretty sure it was KC)

But anyway, rivals are usually heated, and an imagination can go along way. You might want to keep that in mind the next time you match up against the Yanks. ;)

Time to get some more players RBIs other than Ramirez

Yeah, despite the 25-19 record, it's been pretty bleak at the plate this year.

Here's the rundown (44 games):

Cubs - 136 Runs Scored (3.09 runs per game)

Opponent - 133 Runs Scored (3.02 runs per game)

17 One Run Games (10-7)

Cubs - 2 Runs or Less Scored in a Game (19 games)

Cubs - 1 Run or Less Scored in a Game (12 games)

Through pitching and defense, I've managed to stay around the top of the division, 2 1/2 games behind first place Houston (28-17).

DeRosa, Barrett, and Izturis are starting to finally come around, so hopefully run production will increase.

What can I say, the central is weak. I love your attention to detail. It seems like you really get into the dynasties you play. It makes it quite readable. I will try to mimic it with my new Phillies dynasty. Good luck, and I hope Soriano and Lee turn it around.
