Mav3rek
I seem to have the same problem you had with bush, with Brandon Webb. He keeps throwing a lot of offspeed stuff and hits the corners, and then he drops that sinker in on me and he seems unhittable.
apridham
Awesome dynasty you have going here, JR. I'm gonna watch it very closely! I am a Jays fan, but this is such an awesome dynasty that I have to watch it! BTW, it's good to see the Jays on top of the AL East. What are Halladay and Burnett's numbers? Also, could you check Frank Thomas' numbers? Thanks, JR, and good luck with this dynasty!

And to top it ALL of, he throws that 4 seamer outside and suddenly breaks it across the corner. I was 'THIS' close to breaking out the brew. ;)

At least in this dynasty, the Jays have ruled the East from day 1. :)

JoeRudi26
I just looked at the numbers, apridham, no wonder they're in first place. If I remember right, we're actually only about 65 miles apart. I won't mention the city, but aren't you in southern Illinois? Southeast?
JoeRudi26
Cracked one open, Lilly leaves a beachball in the middle of the plate. Geesh.
JoeRudi26
Lilly is awful today. You can't throw Little League pitches to Major Leaguers. He needs to go.
apridham
I hear ya. Doc got rocked tonight for 8 runs in 3.1 innings. Jays are down 10-5 in the 6th inning.
apridham
I thought Lilly was doing pretty good so far this year for the Cubbies? But, then again, as a Jays fan, I know how inconsistent Lilly is. One night he is Cy Young material, the next night he is throwing beach balls.

Yeah, Lilly's been pretty decent this year, but he's just throwing EVERYTHING up and middle tonight. He was with the A's for a couple of years too, and he's usually pretty solid. Great curveball. Hopefully he can regain some composure.
Maestro23
Cracked one open, Lilly leaves a beachball in the middle of the plate. Geesh. Yep, southern illinois is where I'm at. As for Lilly, why didn't he just go up to homeplate and set the ball on a tee. Same effect... Man o' man.

apridham
WOW. The Devil Rays just self-destructed. They were up 11-6 going into the bottom of the ninth and lost 12-11. Tim Corcoran walked the final batter with the bases loaded. Heres how the inning went down. Hill: Walk Lind: RBI Double Phillips: RBI Double Clark: Walk Rios: Force Out. Runners at 1st and 3rd. Wells: 2 RBI Double Stairs: RBI Double Thomas:Int. Walk Passed ball. Runners at 2nd and 3rd Glaus: Int. Walk Hill: Walk So the man that starts the rally also ends it. Nice comeback win. apridham
I have. But, currently I have no copy of MVP 2005. Friend of mine borrowed it a year and a half ago, and now he can't find it. I had removed it from my computer to avoid copyright issues, so I ordered one off E-Bay the other night. $50 later. :| Also, my Photoshop skills are nowheres near where they ought to be, so it would not look real good. But, you never know. after I get my game going I may consider it. Gee, I hope MVP runs good on Vista. Here are my computer specs. Let me know what you think. AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile TL-52 2.0 (Equal to 4.0) 2048 MB RAM Nvidia Geforce 6150 Go 160 Gb HD Vista Home Premium. Think I will have any issues? apridham
That inning summary I wrote up there was not from a PC game. That was a real life game, in case you guys were wondering. Halladay got off the hook in that one after giving up 7 ER in 3.1 IP. I wonder if he is injured again. That is how he pitched before his appendectomy. You should be able to run the game smoothly, probably with all the eye candy on too. Remember, the game came out in 2004. You should be fine. The only thing I can't help you with is Vista. I have no idea, but I'm sure there are alot of people (by now) that have no problems with it.

It took me a sec, but I realized it was a real life game. Being from the midwest, I rarely get to see the Jays or the teams from the West for that matter. Thank G*D for ESPN tho. ;)
