I told you I expected a win out of you. Nice job. And how did Prince Fielder get a triple?

ROFL. :biglaff:

I thought I heard some rumbling this morning.

Actually, LOL, I was wondering when that was going to be brought up, thought I could sneak that by.

He hit an absolute screamer to Floyd in right field. Right at him. I flinched, the ball went to the wall, big Prince lumbered all the way to third base.

But can you imagine how suprised I was to find out that it was his SECOND triple of the season? :flame:

Kelly Johnson hit two triples on me yesterday alone. I am now 20-6. That Kelly Johnson. He didn't score, but he still ripped two off of me. Boy am I upset. I guess that's what I get with Greg Dobbs out in left.

20-6? Sounds like you have the East under control, x. You still tweaking sliders?

Last night I tweaked them a bit and I lost. I raised infield speed up a little bit, and that bum Edgar Renteria stole a single away from me with Rowand on second. I might lower that just a tad, and lower hitting just a tad for the CPU, since they pounded out a ton of hits yesterday off of ludicrous pitches.

Like I said, it's hard to say whether one person's sliders will totally work for the next. It took me two years to get this game to play 'right' for me.

I walk onto the field, I have to pay attention at all times. (see the Prince Fielder blunder). I have to be patient at the plate and focus, I have to pay attention on the mound. One mistake can cost you the game (again, see the Prince Fielder blunder).

But seriously, this is what makes it fun. Just when I think I have a handle on things, the next thing I know I've just lost three games in a row.

You'll get it worked out, just keep pluggin away until it plays the way you want it to.

Chr*st, I just simmed up to my game today, and the mighty Astros have won again.

The pressure..

That's too bad, JR. Maybe if you can't catch them, you could at least take the Wild Card spot.....

Good luck with todays game. :)

Thanks, apridham. Yeah, the Wild Card spot is good enough for me and the Cubbies if that's what it takes.

But I've noticed the Mets have gotten hot and have the bid for the Wild Card as of today. It's early, but it's going to be a dog fight.

West

Los Angeles - 36-24

Central

Houston - 39-21

East

Philadelphia - 41-20

*Wild Card*

NYM - 35-25 (.583)

Chicago - 33-26 (.559)

Atlanta - 31-29 (.517)

Wow..... Tight race, but there is lots of games left. :)

Yeah, it's early. My goal right now is to at least stay in striking distance by the All-Star Break, even if it is a Wild Card race.

Looks like the Phillies aren't too bad in your dynasty either there Joe

Yep, looks like they own the best record in the Majors, with Houston not far behind. I'm surprised St. Louis is barely over .500

At least I don't have to worry about them, for now.

Looks like the Phils have the best record in my dynasty. Ryan must be tearing it up, I'll have to check some numbers.
