You're right, Zito. If it weren't for Ramirez at this point in the season, I'd have a much deeper hole to dig out of.

Without looking, I'd say Ramirez is a good candidate to start for the NL at 3B in the All-Star Game.

At this point it looks like Ramirez will be the All-Star Game Starter, but he also might be looking at a shot at the MVP award with the numbers he's got.

Hey guys, I've been working on a new board for the last week, something that might emulate a GameCast type of update. This board was done completely in Photoshop, or course I took most of the ideas from the regular MLB Game Cast graphic.

It's a work in progress, and very tedious to make sure the stats are 100% correct at the time of the update. Anyway, I'm in the middle of a decent game, and I took an hour or so to update the board and try it out. All of the pitching stats aren't entered, I'll find a way sooner or later. :)

That is very nice JR. Very nice. Phototshop is so addicting.

*Cubs/Braves on TBS right now. Soriano has hit 2 HR's tonight (both on 1st pitch in the count).

*Updated my page.

*Have another beer on me. :wtg:

Thanks, M. Yeah, I have the game on. 2 pitches, 2 dingers. Oh....the BREW!. I hear ya, man. I've got a barn burner going here too, and a few colds one to boot.

Go Cubbies!

*edit - I see you're getting ready for the Phillies. Careful, they're tough in my dynasty.

that's a really sweet looking board, but it seems like taking an hour out of the middle of game you are playing to input all the stats and such wouldn't be worth it.

I agree, Mav, so therefore it won't be used often. The template is made which makes it easier, but it is pretty tedious.

I'll use it probably more later in the season. Close games or in the playoffs. It adds a new perspective to the dynasty, but it's something that more than likely won't be done often.

Thanks for the input.

SORIANO!!!

3 pitches, 3 homeruns. What did this guy eat before the game?

Man I missed his 3rd. I was taking the trash out, came back and we had another run. I thought it was the BREW messing with me.

First pitch again. Got buckled on a hanger, waited, drove it out. :)

It seems I'm getting at least one guy that comes up big in each game. Ramirez and Izturis hit the ball and been on base all season.

But other guys are showing up in the clutch. Floyd and Lee as of late.
