Maestro23
Boo Braves. Man, JR I can't shake Houston and you can't catch'em. Due to my folley in Philly those bums are a 1/2 a game behind me. You were right about Philly, once their bats got going, I couldn't stop them.
JoeRudi26
I havnt taken the time to post because im almost starting my dynasty and studying for my exams, dont worry, the astros arent invencible. Beat'em JR! BTW: Zambrano hit a homerun today, lol! That's great news, HFLR! I've been looking forward to your dynasty for a long time now. I can't wait. Yeah, I saw the Zambrano dinger, lol. At least he high fived Barrett back in the dugout, hopefully things are getting back to normal.

I just checked out your standings, they're not only breathing down your neck, they could possibly overtake 1rst place. Oh well, I know the feeling. I've gotta stop the Houston train from rolling somehow. It's starting to worry me.

Hey x, I'll trade you Cliff Floyd, the mascot, and all the free beer at Wrigely for Chase Utley. :rocklicker: Utley hasn't done anything for me in the past couple games, so it sounds pretty good. Can you add a bucket of balls?
JoeRudi26
Tough loss to the braves. it looks like both of you are having trouble with those astros. Dynasty looks great keep it up Thanks Pudge. Man, I'm afraid to look at the standings each day, they just keep winning. If I can't stay close to them, I may be having to look for a Wild Card spot. It's early, but it's going to be hard as he** to come back from 10-11 games down at the All-Star break.

I'd even throw in Sammy's old corked bat, and some of Lou's stress medicine. Seriously, though, Ramirez has cooled off lately. He's been the staple to this team. If he stops producing, this Cub team could be in trouble.
redsfan776
man that sucks that the astros are that good, i guess you will either have to do really good and hope they can lose or you will just have to try for the wild card
xcrunner4623
Joe, you won't like the result in my dynasty. Miller had 11 Ks though.

I know I've mentioned that before, but at least there is hope.

RmembrZito75
The thing with the Astros is that if you face their pitchers after Jennings and Oswalt, they aren't very dominant. You can get at them any time because of their lack of experience in the majors. The more complicated thing is that they can make up that lack of pitching with their offense. That's what will drive you crazy. In my dynasty, everyone is about 2 games behind me. That's what scares me the most and I play the Reds next. JoeRudi26
The way it's looking, I'll definately have to take advantage of the 12 games I still have with them. I played them back in April, and split a 2 game series. I don't have them again until July 15th. I have to hang on until I can meet up with them and do some real damage to their lead. redsox
Man Floyd's really coming around. I think the last time I saw his numbers they were pretty close to .200. Any chance of Soriano and Izturis swapping in the order? BTW, 7 GB is unacceptable by Lou's standards. I am guessing another shakeup is on its way if Hill loses tonight correct?

I am guessing another shakeup is on its way if Hill loses tonight correct? You read my mind, redsox. I was looking at the numbers this morning and since Soriano is starting to show some power, I figured he might be able to pad his RBI numbers and help win some games. I'll probably move him down after tonight's game. You're right, Floyd has gotten better, but really not quite where I want him to be. I just can't seem to take that power option out of the lineup. And yeah, somebody better start winning games.. (BTW, did you get that link I sent you, and was it helpful? I haven't been there looking around in a long time)

JoeRudi26
National League Homerun Leaders As of June 12th *This board is far from done, and there are tons of flaws to be found. I think I might try to incorporate a Leaders Board, any suggestions are welcome.*

JoeRudi26
Thanks guys, like I said, FAR from finished. I've been sick for a couple of days and can't seem to concentrate much, lol. And yeah, DURHAM? I was surprised too. Ramirez almost made the list with 13 hr's.
redsox
Jay, it looks great man. Couple of things that I would suggest - the gray background seems a little dull. Maybe you could spice that up a bit. Also, I think it would look even better if you were to grab player pics from the game instead of the real ones. Or maybe what you could do is highlight the top 3 league leaders with pics and their stats and then maybe on the right side just list the names (along with stats) of the next 7 league leaders.
