I somehow even convinced myself.

Since Sweet Lou took over the team, they are fun to watch. Still same old brand of bad baseball.. but they're still fun to watch.

You gotta like the Cubs even if you give your heart and soul to another team. They have the heart and spirit that is often over looked in modern baseball. Sometimes they just need to be reminded they are pro ball players. (Sweet Lou can do that)

Even if they don't want to be reminded.

M, I can gaurentee you from the day I heard Lou was going to Chicago, I immediately smiled to myself. I thought "what a perfect fit. Lou Piniella at Wrigley Field. There is no better platform for Lou Piniella. He's old school, alot of the fans are old school, and with their somewhat 'non winning' ways, I knew there was no way in Hell he would be able to contain himself."

When I thought of starting my dynasty, I knew this was an opportunity I couldn't pass up. Even yesterday with the Lee incident.

These guys are fun to watch. :)

JR could you give me a hand please. i have no idea how to make boxes and tables in photoshop. would you be able to explain simply, quickly how to do it.

Thanks

Sure thing, rick. I don't necessarily make 'tables'. Just boxes really.

Make a new layer. With the Rectangular Marquee Tool make a box and fill it with what ever color you want.

Use the Polygonal Lasso Tool to cut the box, whatever shape you desire.

If you're making multiple boxes that look the same, just duplicate the layer you just made.

Think simple, it seems to work best. Hope this helps.

thanks so much. ive been looking for something really complicated and over looked the simple things. Now i can create some different shape boxes instead of just importing ones from different templates.

Hey, JR. Got the Mets updated posted. Geez I am so glad to get out of Gotham. :headache:

Thanks to the Mets, those pesky little b*stards from Texas caught you, didn't they?

Looks like Mets pitching got the best of you. I had more trouble with their offense. Like I said, they're one of the toughest teams to beat.

Great write up, M. Barrett and Zambrano..

The saga continues. :toothless:

I realize the D'Backs logo and colors are off. I got too far before I realized I didn't have their new logos. I'll have to look around for that particular style in their new format

Thanks JR. Man, in the last game Glavine was making me come out of my shoes with his little change-up. I'm hoping Hill can hold the line in the White Sox series. This is his shot, lets see what he can do.

They took 2 of 3 from me, with Glavine and Martinez getting the wins. You're right about that changeup, it's a killer. I'd rather face Martinez any day of the week.

It's less stressful.

Good luck with Hill. He actually started for the first time (for me) against Seattle a few games back. 7 innings, 2 earned runs, 3 K's. He didn't get a decision, but I won't be afraid to use him again.

*San Diego @ Chicago - Game 3 (Series tied 1-1)*

Bottom 8, no outs. San Diego 3, Chicago 1

San Diego has just committed 2 errors in a row, putting men on 1st and second, nobody out

Aramis Ramirez (2-3) at the plate

Those are some nice render effects that you got on that pic. Hopefully you will be able to take advantage and get that come from back victory.

come on, you can complete the come back. In my last game i shut down the Padres.

This game was tied until Brian Giles poked a 'blooper' over the ivy in left center. Soriano came within inches of bringing it back in.

I was cruisin. Got too comfortable.

I got my work cut out for me now. These tight games are killing me. :pistols:

It looks like your having trouble with Mr Giles too. In my first two games he and his brother ripped my pitching apart. I resorted to Intentionally walking B.Giles in the 4th inning of a game.
