Now, back to baseball.

Good win JR. Man Pie is burning up the bases.

Hey how did you do against Seattle when they came to Wrigley. I just finished that series and Felix beat me up and took my lunch money.

I took 2 of 3, M, but guess who got their only win? :)

Working on the update now, but I will tell ya what he did. Complete Game Shutout, 5 hits, 8 K's. I didn't hit him hard all game. Nasty stuff.:headache:

We had other problems in the series too. You should enjoy the update when I get it finished. I swear The Goat and Bartman had to be there. Heck, I even think Ms. O'Leary's cow was there.

Looking forward to it M. Post it in your thread if you want, and I'll keep my eye on it.

Thanks! :)

Nice logos JR!

They actually turned out a little better than I thought.

They are not actually just logos, but they're logos on something else.

It shouldn't be too hard to figure out, but can anyone tell? :)

Thanks again guys. :)

As far as Bonds, I did some investigation work through the SavReader. Apparentely he was injured sometime during the season, he has about 100 less at bats than most of the lineup, and he's walked a team leading 59 times.

But, only 7 HR's in 273 AB's are still a little low. I can tell you this though, he won't see a decent pitch against my Cubbies this week. :)

Hey JR, did you see the latest real-life Cubbies trade that will affect our dynaties?

http://www.mvpmods.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=30707.html

MLB.com article: http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/news/article.j...t=.jsp&c_id=chc

WHAT??

You think they're (A's) starting to follow me around?

Seriously, M, I think the Cubbies are playing well and starting to smell blood.

This is good news, he can't be any worse than what we're dealing with now.

I agree, good trade for the Cubs. Plus Kendall is getting back into the National League.

The Cubs are getting ready for that 2nd-half push. They came back today and beat the Giants 3-2, scoring 2 runs in the 8th! They smell blood indeed. Ever since Sweet Lou went off at Wrigley that day.

Nice, a new catcher! How's he doin' in this dynasty JR?

Excellent question Phils. I had to check him out:

Jason Kendall - .271/1/13 (155 AB)

At least (in my dynasty) he has better numbers than Bowen did coming over from SD. Like the Cubbies in real life, I could use the help.

*just a note - I haven't played today's game yet, but the article on Kendall states that he won't be in uniform until Tuesday. Therefore, I'll make the trade after tonight's game and Kendall will be in the lineup tomorrow (July 17th)*

The game updates will be a bit sporadic for another couple of weeks, but I am getting the games played daily.

I don't have the stats in front of me, but San Francisco came to Wrigley and Matt Cain was unhittable. The Giants won the game 2-1 on a sac fly by Randy Winn (4th), and an 8th inning solo homerun by Ray Durham.

Chicago's only run came off a towering blast from Cliff Floyd that went directly over the top of the right field fair pole.

Line Score

SF - 2 runs/10 hits/0 errors

CHC - 1 run/4 hits/0 errors

Ted Lilly picked up the loss.

Cubs - 6 1/2 back of first place Houston

Tied for Wild Card spot
